I’m a classical trained soprano (had professional performances). I’m debating if I should sing in my own wedding.
Any ladies here sang at their own wedding? If you did, when did you make time to do it? What did you sing? And what was the crowd’s reaction?
My fiance and I will have our first dance so can’t do singing and replace that.
Any ideas, comments, suggestions, tips would be greatly appreciated!!

My best friend sang a song she wrote for her new husband during a her ceremony. It was amazing. She did it just before the vows, and she definitely cried in the middle which was endearing.

Nope. I would absolutely cry and be a blubbering mess.

My fiance is going to play his guitar and sing for me at our wedding – a song he wrote about us a while ago and I’ve always loved…
He’ll be singing and playing “for me” as I asked him to do it. I think that is an important difference though – he’s not doing it as a performance to entertain our guests but for me on our wedding day.
I am not sure when during the day he’s planning on doing this. Probably later in the evening after our first dance but before people get drunk and crazy. He did ask if I would think it weird if he did it during the ceremony and I said I thought it would be.
