Hello! My fiance and I want to go to St Lucia for our honeymoon, and would be there last week in June, first days of July. I have read that their rainy season starts in June…I was wondering if that means it is always raining, or more like the kind of thing where a few showers come and go a day! if anyone has been there in June/July and can offer any insight that would be great! 🙂

I went in 2007 in June for a week. It only rained one afternoon – for about 3 hours. We barely even noticed.

I’m going in the beginning of June. Their rainy season is from June through November I believe, so I’ll be there right at the beginning of it. I think the rain consists of mostly short afternoon showers, so nothing too serious.

I have never been to St. Lucia, but I did go to Mexico in July, which was smack dab in the middle of their rainy season. And while we did get rain, it wasn’t so bad! Usually it would only rain in the afternoon for a brief spurt of time. I think it rained maybe 3 out of 7 days. The first day it didn’t bother us at all–cleared up and was sunny before we even got outside. Second day was briefly in the afternoon, again didn’t bother us as this is when we were done swimming and relaxing in the room. Third day of rain, we had fun with it…we swam in the rain 🙂 It could have rained more! It was so hot…lol.
