I am in Cinci! Not sure how this messaging thing works but we should definately get together.
Anyone willing to share where your ceremony and reception will be? I looked at so many places in the area; I'm so interested in what everyone chose!
We're doing both at Jeff Ruby's Waterfront. It's right on the water and has a great view of the city.
My ceremony and reception are both at my friend's house near Xavier. It's a huge turn of the century mansion. I am extremely lucky to have friends like these guys! My caterer is Funky's and my florist is Murphy's.
Hey! I'm in Cincy too. Our ceremony is at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Walnut Hills, and our reception will be at The Phoenix downtown.
Hey Cincy Brides! I'm getting married at the Redmoor theatre in Mt. Lookout! Has anyone here been to any of the Veils and Cocktails or other events around the area? I'm interested to see what they're like, but all of my bridesmaids are out of state!! Let me know!
I went to Veils & Cocktails last year when my sister was getting married. It was fun...lots of drinks and food. However, it wasn't very helpful since she was pretty far along with her planning. If you're just getting started, I think it would definitely be worth it!
Love to meet up - live in Dayton but getting married in Cinci - the only vendor I am stuck on is finding a reasonably priced (less than $1000) florist!
@fitzly: Try Two Little Buds in Hamilton, OH. Mindi was fantastic when we met. She had great ideas and was very receptive to mine. She said she's done weddings with $200 budgets up to very expensive. Plus, she doesn't charge you to use her glassware. She's come in about $500 under every other quote I've gotten.
My ceremony is a church ceremony and then my reception is at the Madison!
I'm here in Cincinnati too! We're gettting married at the Cincinnati Nature Center. Fiance and I wanted something a little different then the weddings we've been to lately. It's outdoors on a stone patio overlooking the wooded area. If you like to hike, you definitely need to check it out!
And btw, I'd be interested in drinks too!

Right out my top choice for the ceremony and reception is The Inn at Irwin Gardens in Columbus, Indiana.
I just got married 3 weeks ago and moved to Cincy two weeks ago. I'd love to meet some Cincy bees! Actually, I'd love to meet anyone in Cincinnati so I at least know some people. If there's going to be a meet up please message me and let me know! :-)
I know the holidays are coming up so meeting might be hard, but I'd love to!

I am getting married at Pattison Park and Lodge it's between Batavia and Milford. ( A little south of the general cincinnati area , about an hour from downtown.)
