Yes, and I think the way the OP suggested would work really well! : (9 votes)

Wedding magazines are super expensive, and I know I have at least 7 that I've already read cover to cover and taken note of ideas that I like.  Some of them are from last summer, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth reading!  So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a Wedding Magazine Swap?

The best way I can think of doing it would be to post the magazine (Name of Magazine and which issue it is) that you're ready to part with, and if someone wants it they could PM you with their address and then you could go back and edit your post to either cross off the one you're sending or just delete it.

If you have a better idea on how we could do this, please post about it, but I think this could work out really well!

I'm adding a poll to see if anyone is interested...

This sounds so fun. I don't really have any magazines or anything cause the 'bee is my only wedding material but I thought of a way to help organize it if you needed more ideas. What if it was done like the card swaps we have for holidays and the surprise is that you don't know what issue/magazine you will get. And I'm sure that if theres any you really wouldn't want we can post here before getting them.

I don't think I would participate yet though, lol my wedding obession is still pretty secret and I can't have any evidence lying around :P

That sounds so much fun! I have at least a dozen magazines that I could send off. I live in Canada, but would still be willing to do this if other people are willing to exchange with me

I love this idea, but I'm such a visual person...I tear pages out and circle things.  I have a TON of magazines, but they're all kind of jacked up haha.

Drat! I just mailed all my old magazines to my friend to peruse. I would have been totally interested in doing this; I've gotten a bit addicted to reading/purchasing bridal magazines.

@tntrav44: See, I scan stuff I like, lol.  I like to have everything on my computer.  But a free magazine is a free magazine - you can't really complain if it's been torn up!

I have about 10 bridal magazines and oriental trading company wedding magazines as well. I don't need any in return since I am getting married in 8 days (ahh!)  but would be willing to send mine off :)

@Tswife4ever: That's why I figure it would be best to do it in a way that people who are willing to give them up can, and only people who want them can get them.  Right now I have some to share, and I'd love to get some more to read, but come September I'll just be trying to off-load them!  Doesn't make any sense to just have them go to waste!

I have sooo many of them, every bridal show I go to, I get them for free... I have some from last year's summer, fall, this year's spring/summer... I would be more than happy to send them to someone who could use them.
