@MissHarleyBlue:  I don’t know about having the basket raised – I’m sure other bees can help you there. But I know it’s possible to shave down the side of the basket, or cut out a piece of it for the wedding band to sit flush, but I’m not sure if that’s something you’d be comfortable with.

really i dont know, but from the pics of the side of your ring it looks like the basket is part of the ring and not on top of the ring if that makes sence… I think they should be able to carve in the basket or shave it down to have a ring sit closer but I’m not sure. 

 

I love the ring too I think you should deal with the gap if it cant be altered rather then get a new one!
