you're supposed to save all the bows from the presents and create a bouquet that the bride uses for the rehearsal. and count all the bows that the bride breaks when opening presents because that's how many babies she's going to have. i don't know about that many traditions, i feel like there's just a lot of eating, playing games, and opening presents.

We play gift bingo. Basically you pass out blank bingo cards to guests, they fill in the squares with what they think the bride/mother is going to get and then when that gift is opened, they mark off that square. BINGO gets a small prize! It's great for larger showers where guests lose attention to all the gift opening.

The MOH usually sits up at the front with the bride and writes down all the gifts and givers, for easy thank you card writing. Other BMs will typically help by bringing gifts to the bride, taking them when she's finished, bagging up wrapping paper, and passing out prizes.

We also give favors to all the women, small game prizes to a few and table centerpieces out to one person at each table.

Are you throwing a shower for a friend? Or asking about it for your own shower? I know a lot of people have their BMs throw the shower for them, but my mom is basically coordinating mine between all the sides of my family and friends.
