My friend is trying to think of a song that I put on a CD for her back in college so that she can dance to it at her wedding. We graduated college in ’07. It was on a CD with Sister Hazel’s “Winter”. She doesn’t know where she put the CD but remembers the following things:
-Very slow, sweet song
– she talks about about lucky she is have found him
– lyrics have something to do with lying in bed and hearing sirens down the street but I know it’s going to be okay because you’re here with me
– That’s all I got folks!! Any ideas might help!

@Lily_of_the_valley: Do you mean it was a compilation CD that a company made with songs by different artists, that also had the Sister Hazel song on it? Or is the Sister Hazel song mentioned just because you think the song you’re looking for came out around the same time?

I know! Chantal kreviazuk “feels like home”.
I was watching “how to lose a guy in 10 days” just this weekend and this is one of “our” songs.

@Jijitattoo: It was just a random mixed CD I made her.. I thought Sister Hazel with the genre of music that was on there! If it was a Sister Hazel CD that would be an easy one unless I’m just really really dumb, lol!

@SapphireSun: That might be it, I will check with her! Thanks!

@SapphireSun: I’ll bet you’re right!
A window breaks, down a long, dark street
And a siren wails in the night
But I’m alright, ’cause I have you here with me
And I can almost see, through the dark there is light
And if you knew how I wanted someone to come along And change my life the way you’ve done

@Lily_of_the_valley: yay! I LOVE that song but dh wouldn’t let me have it for our first dance because he thought all people would hear/remember was the part about sirens and be confused. Obviously he was correct… I’ll take my Internet points and keep that little tidbit to myself though 🙂
