anyone made a headpiece before or just messed around with wire and beads?

Are you set on making it? I agree that 300$ is too much but if you check Etsy lots of similar styles are available for much less. I quickly searched “Wedding headpiece vine” right now and saw them between 50$-200$, with lots of nice ones around 100$.  I’m not very crafty so this project looks very intimidating to me….

I make headpieces for a living And agree with the PP – working with the wire is especially tricky.

If you are set on making it yourself there are some easier wire styles you could try…

Or how about ones not made from wire at all???

Working with wire is a PIA.  Hats off to anyone who does it for a living and does it well!

Michael’s craft store carries something similar in their Bridal section, and it was under $50.  Way easier than spending money on all the supplies (very expensive) and trying to do it yourself (hard).

If you have enough time til your day, check out ebay. I had originally wanted this crystal hair comb from etsy but it was like $60. I looked on ebay and found the EXACT same one for only $5 AND free shipping!! The only problem was it came from China and took a few weeks to come. But when it did it was perfect!
