After some looking arround, I can’t seem to find the simple fitted shrug I was looking for. I ran across this tutorial: http://amberperrypatterns.com/wordpress/quick-easy-fleece-shrug/90
and I’m wondering if I can diy a simple shrug to go with my wedding dress. Anyone try this before?
I’m going to go to JoAnne’s tomorrow and check it out!

I always thought it would be easy to just buy an oversize pashmina or scarf and tack the edges together to make a partial sleeve for your wrist. It would flow like a wrap but be a little more secure in staying on. It also seems really easy even for the sewing challenged.

That’s a pretty ingenious tutorial!! I say, a stetch lace shrug would be gorgeous done like this! (If lace goes with your dress, of course! If not, just a stretch satin would be pretty, and you could always find a cute trim to go around the side and back of the neck.) May have to steal the idea for my ceremony!
