Anyone make their own tulle table skirt?

@jenilynevette:  I haven’t made one but I have made lots of costumes with tulle.

It is easy enough to gather a long length of tulle then attach it to the tablecloth with velcro. It is not necessary to finish the top or bottom edges. If you want, you can cover up the top edge with a length of satin ribbon, or just gather the tulle onto the satin ribbon.

@jenilynevette:  First I’ve ever seen one but it’s very pretty! I agree thou not $70 pretty thou….hopefully you can re-create it!

@jenilynevette:  I’m not sure what people mean when they say to tie a ribbon around. You could do that over top of the tulle that was already gathered and pinned to the tablecloth.

The ribbon alone would not hold the tulle securely.
