@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:I know where you’re goooooo-ing! (said in a sing song voice)

We’re going to take a small weekend get-away after the wedding, we’ll only be going about two and a half hours away… But in February we’ll be going to Colorado. :o)

wow, that looks stunning!!

Also makes me feel excited about my wedding as the hotel we’re getting married in has log cabins as accomodation, and the bridal suite is one with a hot tub!! πŸ™‚

I’m getting married on a Sunday, and have teh monday off work but back at the grind stone on the Tuesday, then, just about 3 weeks later we’re off to mexio for a gap adventure tour! πŸ˜€

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: I too live about 3-4 hours away from that spot actually. But we have been MANY times. I love it there. Never seems to get old. There are some great trails and cool sights to see if you’re interested in that as well. The Roaring Fork motor trail has a great waterfall that’s worth seeing. It’s called Grotto falls I think… It’s only a short hike to it.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: yeah, we’re doing thsi tour:

http://www.gapadventures.com/trips/yucatan-panorama/MYP/2011/

10 days of ruins, towns, waterfalls and a night in a beach hut, finishing on a stunning island, and we’re taking a further 4 nights on the island to make it to 2 weeks away! I’m so excited!

This way round we get to enjoy talking about our weddings and enjoying that for what it is, and then a seperate break means we get to enjoy it all again! Hope you have a lovely time away!

@anne B: I love your choices: Kenya or Las Vegas.. the opposite ends of the spectrum!

We are going on a quick four day tour of one area of Costa Rica. I would like to stay longer, but vacation time is so tight.

We were kind of planning on going to Maine, but his car broke down 3 days ago.  Unexpected time off + car repair bills + 10 plane tickets/thank you gifts = no honeymoon any time soon.  And his car has over 200K miles, so it’s likely to happen several more times before he gets a new car (next year).  So we’re planning on going to Jamaica after he gets back from deployment.

We are getting married on Saturday (squeee!!!), moving across the country on Monday, unpacking and discovering our new town for 2 weeks – and THEN going on a curise for 10 days! We figured that having that down-time after the wedding would make a HUGE difference in the amount of fun and relaxation we get on the cruise.

That place looks amazing! Where is it?

We’re getting married on Sat (knock wood – keinahora – !!!!) but not going on a big trip till the fall (we will have weekends away during the summer, but not, like, a big *honeymoon* trip until Sept).

My FI graduated 2 weeks before our wedding and I start student teaching the tuesday after our wedding so for us there will be no honeymoon until at least January which we are fine with because it is cold in Erie and we will have an excuse in the winter time to go somewhere warm
