I see hundreds of threads on here about people who stalk their registry. I have a shower in 2 weeks and went to update my registry and saw 2 things were purchased and was bummed when I saw what they were. So now I do not check what was bought, just IF anything was bought(BBB)…FH would be so mad if I looked again before the shower, and as tempting as it is I WILL NOT look. Anyone else not look and were you really surprised?

A waffle maker and toaster popped up on my door step on the same day. Only then did I check my registry-for the first time to see where in the heck they came from haha. I don’t like looking. I prefer coming home from work and finding random housewares waiting for me.

I wish I couldn’t. My Fiance told me when the first thing was bought so he is a stalker as well. Honestly though, some of it is just trying to decide if I still want what we put on it.

I don’t look. I was given a bunch of stuff from the registry at my shower and I was surprised and it was a lot of fun. Don’t plan on looking before the wedding, except I might get somebody to make sure I don’t need to add more stuff, although I think people will give more money than real gifts for the wedding anyway.

I’m terrible. I totally look. In fact, today when I was looking it said “47 items purchased,” then when I went to the next page, it said, “55 items purchased.”!!
Someone just bought a bunch of napkin rings, but I still thought it was pretty funny!

I totally stalked before our first shower. I can’t help myself. I have to say it did not ruin the surprise of opening the actual gifts and seeing who gave what in real life. I’m sure it would have been even more exciting had I not looked, but it was definitely still a special time on the actual day.
I asked my girlfriends who were already married if they looked at theirs before hand too, and they all did. To me it was like not finding out the sex of your baby. If the information is at your finger tips and so readily accessable, how can you not peek? 🙂 Clearly I am not one for surprises!
