I don't wear makeup. Once in a blue moon I wear lipstick/lipgloss, but that's about it. I never really learned how to do it properly, particularly foundation/mascara/eyeliner. When I was in late high school/early college I went through a phase of wanting to wear makeup, so I'd put on eyeshadow, lipstick and blush almost every day, but that only lasted for about two or three years. Currently, I only bring out the makeup for special occasions, and that usually means lips/blush/eyeshadow, maybe a little concealer sometimes.
For the wedding I wanted to wear makeup so I had it professionally done, because there was no way in hell I'd be able to pull that off on my own, lol.
I wear foundation daily because my complexion is sort of ruddy but I really don't know how to apply makeup over mascara.
I only ever wear eyeliner.
I can't wear foundation... it makes me sweat LOL
So i don't think i'll be wearing makeup except for my eyes on the day.... i'll probably get my eyelashes tinted and wearing clear mascara too
and my partner loves the fact that i dont wear makeup... he likes it when i get all dressed up every now and again when we go out but he prefers me natural. He said that was one of the things that he found attractive :)
I don't wear makeup very often and FI has told me that he honestly doesn't like the look of makeup (thinks mascara looks inhuman and a little slutty). I just laugh it off and don't stress about it, because I know I'll never be the kind of gal to spend an hour and a half getting ready when I know it won't last more than 15 minutes next to a hot oven.
i wear foundation and blush regularly, because my skin is SOO white that people think I look sick all the time if I dont or think Im rocking that dead vampire look.. So in order to stop the questions. I wear it. :)
I don't wear makeup other than chapstick or lip gloss on a daily basis. When I have an important meeting at work or am going out, I will add mascara and eye shadow but I don't own any sort of foundation. I feel like, I should wear a foundation with an SPF for the SPF but I tried that with moisturizer and so many days I leave the house without it on. My skin feels so slogged when I put stuff on it, even facial moisturizer or sunscreen it'S hard to get in the ahbit of wearing it. I still have not decided what I'm goin to do for hte wedding, maybe I'll get it professionally done.
I wore make up for about 3 months in high school... and haven't owned any since then.
I'm actually kind of concerned about the Wedding, because getting it done professionally isn't in our budget.
I almost never wear makeup. Sometimes, I'll wear eyeliner and mascara. That's all i wore for our eshoot (even though the photog recommended more) and it turned out fine. I'm just too lazy!
I never wear makeup, just chapstick brand cherry! My FI prefers it that way. I know how to do it and I own a lot of really nice stuff too- I am just so lazy. I am little concerned for the wedding because I know I need to wear some in order to have my skin more uniform for pictures, but I also don't want to look so different than usual.
I look nekkid without any on. The au natural look works for some but it doesn't work for me!
My usual daily makeup consists of mascara and chapstick, but sometimes I throw some concealer on under my eyes.
FI doesn't like it when I wear makeup and insists I don't need any for the wedding, but I definitely do. I'm not going to do much more than my normal day to day wear.
I always wear under-eye concealer and blush. I am really pale, and I have dark circles under my eyes so I look kind of sick if I don't put these 2 things on!! I don't wear more than that unless I'm going out to the bar or a special event. I have no idea how to apply most things!
I work from home, so I don't wear makeup during the week. Usually I wear it on the weekends. I like wearing makeup, but I think that going without is making my skin look better!
I am not a big make-up wearer. I will wear eyeshadow before anything else but then...definitely not every day. My FI loves that about me....he prefers no makeup and so do I so that works out.
I only wear make-up if I'm going out or if there's an event/important meeting at work. I really can't be bothered in the morning, putting on make-up is the last thing I want to do that early! But I do love putting it on when I have time to play.
The only thing i use consistently is chapstick. I hated how most foundations felt on my skin when I was younger, never figured out the whole eyeshadow thing, and my cheeks are naturally rosy, so I dropped makeup long ago. Occasionally I'll throw on some mascara and curl my lashes, but that's the extend of my usual use of makeup.
I went to Sephorea yesterday with my BM/make-up artist (I am SO lucky my friend is an ex-make-up artist!). I was totally overwhelmed by the...everything of the store! Lucikly, we ran into an awesome saleslady who hooked us up with the good stuff for me. Apparently I only need tinted SPF 30 moisturizer, a little concealer (under eye circles strike again!), and a matte powder. I highly recommend to anyone looking for help with their wedding day make-up to stop in to their local Sephorea (I know I'm spelling this wrong!) or Ulta or BareMinerals, etc store, grab a nice friendly employee, explain you're getting married and need help finding/applying make-up. My nice saleslady yesterday said that she does make-up for brides all the time and while I don't need one thanks to my friend, her rates were super reasonable and she comes to you!
I wear blush every day. Occassionally I wear other things like powder or mascara, but usually just blush. I think a little color livens up my usually pasty complexion and it makes me feel "done" even though I spent all of .5 seconds on it. But that is my only makeup must; everything else is just icing on the cake for more special occasions.
I wear blush, a little powder, and mascara, I also usually wear a really light shade of eye shadow (unless I'm going out). My skin tone is kind of uneven so the powder helps with that.
I don't really wear it - haven't ever found a pale enough foundation so it just looks unnatural on me. And it's tricky, because my face is freckled and I look bizarre when they're covered on my face but show on the rest of my body. I use mascara and chapstick if I wear anything.
I can honestly count the number of times I've worn makeup in my life with both hands. Less than 10 times?? And even then it's just a little eyeliner and lip gloss. I'm just not a big makeup person. Obviously the wedding is the only time ever I'm worried about that and investing!
@daydreamwanderer,
Have you tried calling up local beauty schools and trying to get "students"? Do you have any friends and family that are good with makeup?
I don't really have any otherwise I would've done just that.
I don't wear makeup on a daily basis. Maybe if I'm going out I might put on a little something on my eyes, or a little tinted gloss, but it's not for me. I don't really like the look of the same old, same old makeup every day, because I think it gets pretty gross after a while. My FI can't stand the feel of foundation, probably because his mum sells Avon and wears it all the time. My mum and sisters don't really wear makeup either, so that probably has a lot to do with my aversion to wearing it all the time.
I do like wearing it, but I need to feel like me. I totally panicked after going to Sephora one day, because it was so weird to see all this stuff on my face. It was helpful, but a little overwhelming too. I want to look light, fresh, and natural, not scary and overdone!
I only wear makeup when I am going out on the weekends, or its a special occasion like going out to dinner, meeting someone important, or picking FI up at the airport :) FI likes me both ways, but I think the fact that I don't wear makeup every day makes him notice more when I am all done up. I like that there's not a standard I have to keep up with - like, "Oh, FI's parents have never seen me without makeup so I have to put it on first thing in the morning!" I also like to have my makeup look perfect and I never have time in the morning to do it well, so its kind of like, why even try?
I hardly ever wear it now that I am not working. I am lucky I have silly-long eyelashes. I can only wear clear mascara or I look like a daddy-long-legs.
But yea, only when I go out.
i don't normally wear makeup..maybe a little eyeliner on fancy-days but that's about it :)
I only wear make-up at night...when going somewhere special. I'm a leave the house in 15 minutes kind of person.
The only time I wear makeup is for weddings or our anniversary. Otherwise that's it. I had to wear "stage" makeup when I was in dance, and I hated it! And, on the lucky end, Mr.TKE loves me au-natural ;)
i used to wear it every day. until i didn't wear it and mentioned it, and my husband said that he didn't see a difference. if he can't tell, i'm not putting in the effort.
I only do my makeup on the weekends or if I know I have plans other than working that day. I really don't like the feel of having makeup on, it makes me want to instant wash my face. Chapstick is all I do.
@ yrret107 My FH tries to get me to wear makeup every day too!
I don't either... only special occasions. I just couldn't be bothered with it.
I only wear foundation. I only put the rest on for special occasions or job interviews
Even though I love makeup, I don't wear it unless it's a special occassion and this is because of one reason only - I am super lazy. I can't imagine waking up in the morning even 5 minutes before I absolutely have to so that I can work in makeup as part of my routine. And keeping me away from my bed 5 minutes longer at night to take my makeup off? Forget it!
I don't wear it regularly on the weekdays, mainly because I'm always covered in paint, charcoal, pastel or the like. I've just gotten so lazy.

Me!
I don't wear make up, I do wear make up on special occasions. Going out to the bar, weddings, parties.
My husband tries to get me to wear makeup everyday.
