Most of us aren’t even wearing white either– but actually ivory these days! Cool

I love the color blue — and if I went with color Id be in blue.

I have no plans to wear white, as I don’t even own white in my everyday wardrobe. I’m undecided on the color at the moment but it will definitely be something bold, rather than a barely there pastel.

White is very new as a wedding color since the mid1800s and even then it symbolized wealth, as white was a color that only royals could afford, not purity as many believe. That stigma was not attached until much later by fashionistas who did not care what it symbolized. Prior to that, brides wore color, usually their best dress they already owned or a dress that would become part of their everyday attire. Since the dawn of time, blue has symbolized purity but most people today do not know that since they have been told that white symbolizes it, which it does not.
