I am renewing my vows next September for our 25th anniversary. ...I have started some minor planning but that's it...how are your plans going?

We're actually considering doing this ourselves for our anniversary... I think it's a beautiful idea. We have talked about a private ceremony (just us) and then asking our family to join us afterward for a meal and toasts.
I think you should follow your heart and wear a wedding dress, do the walking down the aisle thing (if you didn't last time) and have that moment together. Or you could do a "first look" photo session.
We are renewing our vows on our 20th wedding anniversary (well a few days later, our real anniversary is 5/8 but we are renewing our vows on 5/11/2013)
I'm very excited, I got my dress, we are going to vegas and renewing them with Elvis! It is just going to be fun. Very fun! We have been through alot in our marriage and this will be pretty much a "fresh start" or a restart:) not that we need one, we are still very much in love, but its definitely just a reaffirmation of our love for eachother. I am excited. This is going to be the wedding of my dreams I think:) I'm so happy!
So far I got the dress, and Las Vegas, the only ones that will be in our ceremony are our kids. One daughter, 2 sons. We are inviting everyone:) Its going to be fun!!!!!

I am renewing my vows with my husband the day after our 5th anniversary. We did not get to have a real wedding last time so we are doing a big thing now.
I want to! We hope to have a 5 year wedding/ anniversary. We didn't really have one the first time, like Strawberry- so we want to have one at a special mark.

My husband and I have been married for 9 years and I still love wedding stuff! :) No, I haven't been online looking at stuff these past 9 years but as our 10th anniversary approaches next Sept (2011), we've been thinking about renewing our vows. I thought at first I might just do a private renewal (just me and hubby) and have pics taken since our first photos were absolutely terrible and then go to dinner after but I'm thinking now of just doing a photo shoot with a new dress (something I couldn't afford to get before - not thinking of spending tons but more than the $150 bridesmaids dress in white I got before). Still not sure and know I have tons of times but just wnated to see if anyone on here was renewing their vows, and if so, what you were doing. Thanks.
