I have a loose 2.75 ct moissanite that’s fancy brown but is honestly a million different colours depending on lighting ! The ring is diamond so you can see the difference between the colours.

This is my champagne/fancy brown beauty! The colour changes in different lights.

My engagement ring has brown diamonds as accent stones around the main stone and in a little pave. My pictures doesn’t show how they sparkle, but I really love them. They glitter in a lovely smokey-yellow tone.

Damiansmum10:  Thankyou!

KittyNoire:  lovely ring! I love the idea of brown accent diamonds and pave!

I think there is a lot of a brown diamond hate out there! especially online. But I just love them!

Lissandra: Thank you so much! 😀 I have to say I think yours is gorgeous!! That lush colour does remind me of champagne, had to stop myself from drooling! xD Very pretty setting too. I don’t really understand why people don’t like brown diamonds, they are pretty. End of! 😀

I have what I call smokey quartz. I wear it everyday just about!

I have a champagne diamond. My FI got it from a second hand shop. I love it! It looks dramatically different depending on the lighting. It was graded a light chocolate/champagne color. Sometimes it faces up pretty white, sometimes golden and other times it looks like pyrite in the dark. Very moody and endlessly entertaining, for me a gemstone collector.

Damiansmum10:  mine was handmade by a local jeweller. The diamond is an Argyle, C5, 1.02 carat cushion brilliant, SI1 (super eye clean).

GemmaBella:  I always enjoy seeing your lovely ring! Pyrite is a very good description of how browns look with flash or certain lights.

I don’t think my reply posted. It’s from Gordons. I have the link but maybe I can’t direct link in comments? Just go to their website and search smokey quartz. It’s on the first page, top row on the end! It looks like they also have a smaller version as well!
