Anyone picked a dress to try to please their fiancé?

I basically went shopping the first time with zero ideas and an open mind.  So glad I didn’t buy anything that day!

Second time I had asked FI if he had any preferences as to dress features.  He said “maybe a little leg” (BOYS :P) so when I went I went with what I was comfortable and felt good in, but I also kept his request in mind.  So a little bit of each for both of us. 🙂

I think you’d look fabulous in Divina! 🙂

Also, my husband had a specific idea of what a bride meant to him in his head, and I ended up with none of those concepts (I was not going to be in a fluffy ballgown, no i wasn’t. And it wasn’t going to be stark white, thank you very much :D). In the end, he loved the ivory fit and flare dress I wore on our wedding day!

I think it’s very hard for men to picture their fiance on the wedding day, my fiance doesn’t like mermaid gowns on the model but guess what he is getting! I don’t think this means he will be revolted or shocked when he sees me, I’m counting on him to love it. Not because of the style but because it’s HIS wife in a dress on their wedding day.

I think the Divina would look great on you, and in addition the Divina can be very form flattering! That might be a good compromise. It’s not pagenty at all but it can show off your figure quite nicely.
