I'm not in the Denver area so I'm afraid I cannot be of much help in terms of local resources. But I'm renting my ceremony dress. I'm going to be a 2-dress bride: 1 for ceremony & another for reception. The reception dress will be easy for me to move around and it's a little more casual looking & that'll be purchased for less than $200. Ceremony dress is elaborate and will probably look great in photo but a huge hassle to move around & I'll only be wearing it for 4-5 hrs (1 hr ceremony, others for pre-ceremony/bridal session). It's also very cheap to rent relative to buying the dress.
I'm asian and it is common in Asian culture to rent white wedding dresses for ceremony. Maybe if you look into asian-oriented wedding shops/tailors, they may do wedding dress rental? Good luck!

I've come to realize I am not excited about looking for a dress. I know, I'm one of the few. I'm currently about 60 pounds overweight (working on it though! lost 10!) and I fear the sides of my neck will break out into eczema that can happen whenever my skin decides to not behave. I'm very scared I'll look horrible on my day, and even though the redness can be edited out in photos, I will be so uncomfortable. For this reason, I am considering just trying to find a dress that will do and finding a dress I could rent. I hate the idea of spending more than a few hundred dollars on a dress I'm only going to wear for literally 8 hours or less in one freakin' day!
Any of you renting a dress? Any of you in the Denver area who are doing so, got any suggestions?
