FI wants to go see a movie this weekend and I don't know what to see. Has anone seen:

    Amelia

    Couples Retreat

    The Box

Anything else that was good? I don't think I can handle Paranormal Activity. I'll probably have nightmares if I see it.

I haven't heard of Good Hair. What's it about?

I can't do horror or super violent movies anymore.

My FI and saw Paranormal Activity.  It was great - best scary movie I've seen in a long time (I just hope you're not sleeping alone!).  Also, Zombieland is amazing.

Edit: And after I posted this, I saw your thing about no horror or gross stuff.  Nevermind.  =D

@Sulli301, I saw the Ugly Truth and thought it was hilarious. I don't normally do romantic comedies but I loved that one. When I went to the theater, everyone was cracking up. Most people I know who have seen it also enjoyed it.

Have not seen Amelia yet but it looks really good from the clips. Although Hilary Swank's accent she used was very distracting.

    Law Abiding Citizen was excellent.

Couple's Retreat was awful. It did have a few moments here and there that were funny but overall it was just bad.

I don't really like scary movies or gross horror movies.  But Zombieland was just a silly comedy.  The zombiness of it was so deliberately fake.  I didn't want to see it but am really glad I did!!

@Sulli301 - The Ugly Truth was SOOOO good! I absolutely loved it!

We haven't seen any really good movies in the theater recently. We both REALLY wanted to see Zombieland, but we never got a chance - is it still in theaters?

Oh, and @tanya123 - I am so excited for New Moon too! We already have our tickets! :-)
