I recently got an email from Gap Inc that they introduced a new fitness clothing to their current line up of Piperlime, Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy called Athleta
It looks really neat and I"m thinking about buying a new workout outfit or two to stay motivated these last two months.
What do you think hive? Does buying new workout clothes give you a workout boost?

Actually, I think Athleta has been around for a while and just got acquired by the Gap. I think their stuff is great. It’s a little pricey, but it’s good quality clothing. Nothing motivates me like a new playlist on my ipod, but a new outfit as a reward for your hard work (or motivation to keep going) sounds good to me!

I noticed this stuff yesterday and I think they have so many great things. I wish I was someone who had cute workout clothes. Unfortunately, I’m the girl at the gym with the old college t-shirts and shorts. Boring! Now that I’ve reached my weight loss goals, maybe I will get something new to show off my hard work!

I think their swimsuits and some of their other stuff is totally adorable – and I love that their swimwear is for C-DD ladies! Score!
I am not sure that I would ever run in a dress though – I have a running skirt and I like it, but a dress just seems…a little too much like you care more about how you look than what you are doing.
Jessie, you should totally invest in some fun workout clothes – but I will warn you, once you switch from crummy cotton t-shirts to performancewear, you never go back to cotton – it just feels too heavy and gross.
