I absolutely LOVED my gown, but it only makes sense to sell it since I’m not planning on having kids and don’t have any nieces that would want it. Anyone else sell their dress right after the wedding? Any regrets about it? And how much did you ask? My dress was originally $1200 so I am thinking 6 or 7 hundred is reasonable to ask for.

I’ve also wondered about selling my dress after the big day but I honestly don’t think I’d be able to bring myself to doing it. I am planning on having kids and although the chances of my daughters wanting to wear it are slim, I guess there’s always that small possibility. There are a lot of interesting ways to incorporate the dress into your home believe it or not, it would be a special reminder of that day for both you and your groom. Worth a shot to Google it I’d say, just my opinion!! Hope it helps

I’m selling it right after, I paid around $2100 and have to add in bustling etc…for costs. I’ll start at 75% of the original cost and see where it goes from there. But, I won’t take a penny under 50% of what I paid. At the 50% mark I’d rather keep it even for just the lace.

I’ve gone back and forth with the ideas of selling, or donating to charity or keeping hoping my daughter or step-daughter will one day wear it. I think for now I’ll keep it (although I have 2 years until I get married). But I’m open to one day deciding to sell it or donate. I did purchase a dress previously and am in the process of trying to sell it to help finish paying for the 2nd dress (gotta love dress regret lol).
