I am! With all the wedding events coming up soon including the honeymoon I’ve been freaking out a little and sort of buying anything I see. It’s hard for me since I’m so petite, I can’t just walk into a store and walk out with a dress, but i’ve been doing some damage online.
Anyone else or are you all being good??
**Edit** While I am able to pay cash for what I’m buying, I don’t really ‘have the money’ to be doing it since I was hoping to fatten up my savings. I’m definitely having some buyer’s remorse here!

I wish! I’m in the process of buying textbooks for this quarter, which means I’m broke. I really need new clothes at this point, too (my favorite riding jeans just got a hole in them, damn!) but it’ll have to wait.

I used to spend a lot of money on clothes during college… until I racked up about $2000-3000 in credit card bills. Now, I ask myself, will I actually wear it or do I need it? Saves so much money that way.
Although, I have started buying a lot of stuff (more than usual) from Victoria Secret for my honeymoon next week!! (If it wasn’t for this honeymoon, I would walk right by that store… it’s just bad for my money if I walked in. lol)

I totally hear you! I just bought a new bikini and sandals and some lingerie all for the honeymoon haha. I have a problem :S Still trying to find a cute dress for the rehearsal!

I just started buying stuff online too! I don’t have much time to go to stores these days, so it’s all online ordering and sending back what doesn’t work, which is most everything it seems. Still looking for the elusive perfect rehearsal dinner dress…

Aaah, yes the elusive perfect RD dress! Where is it? If you ladies find it, let me know. I actually have a good ‘backup’ but I’m not crazy about it and even my Mom has said it’s ugly (she’s very opinionated).

The problem is when you get something and think “hmm I like it but it’s not exactly THE rehersal dress/honeymoon outfit/etc… but I still like it… and I don’t want to return it because I could use it for something else…” and then keeping it and continuing to look – hahaha. It is even easier to convince yourself to keep things you bought on-line because those returns involve going mailing it back and paying for that too. Haha!

I think I’ll be right there with you when I start planning for my honeymoon!

Me! I got tired of looking in stores for things I can’t find so I have been ordering online and suffering through the added shipping costs. I just got a bunch of tankinis delivered, but none of them are quite right so now I have to debate if I want to try to exchange or just return.
I did just find my rehearsal dress though! It is perfect for our backyard bbq:

Uuuuugh. I want to shop so, so badly. It’s to the point where part of me is itching for the wedding to just be over already so I can go ahead and buy pretty spring stuff. Feeling frumpy is not helping me get through these last two weeks gracefully.

I don’t have enough money to spend a lot on clothes right now.

I’ve been trying to keep the clothing spending in check (showers, rehearsals, engagement pics, honeymoon). So I’m pretty strategic about what I buy and for what purpose. For everything else, Forever21 to the rescue! I can get a whole summer wardrobe there for the cost of a single Anthropologie dress.

@Rachel Leigh – that’s a beautiful dress! And nice 1st name too 😉

Yep! I feel like I need an outfit for everything!
I just finished getting rehearsal dress (J. Crew), shower dress (Banana Republic), and possible bach party dress (Express)
I’ve also picked up a few cute honeymoon dresses from Old Navy. Their maxi dresses come in tall sizes, which is awesome!

I’m spending way too much money lately on clothes and a million other things.
Why? Because I’m dumping so much money left and right for wedding related expenses, I figure I might as well blow the rest of my money since I’m not able to save a ton of it right now anyway.
Poor reasoning, I know. I’m excited for the wedding expenses to be over.
