Yes!  We live in L.A. and we’re going to honeymoon in San Diego.  We’ll get the beach vacation without having to pay for plane tickets.

We are! We will be driving around 5 hours away to the mountains. We are looking forward to taking our top tier of the cake and eating slowly over the honeymoon!

We haven’t yet decided where to go, but it will most likely be closer to home. I’d love to have the money and time to go on the glorious honeymoons that other people have posted here, but we don’t. I’m just looking forward to getting my man out of town for a little while. We’ve never been on a vacation together!

We haven’t decided where to go yet, but we have neither the time nor money that some people seem to have for their honeymoon, so we will stay close. FI already commited to splitting a cabin with friends in the mountains a month after the wedding, so that might just be the honeymoon. Undecided

@naturalysam:  Last summer we did the Cabot Trail and had such a nice time!  It is absolutely beautiful.

If you have nice weather, make sure to block off a whole day for the beach at Ingonish!  And, stop at The Dancing Goat in Margaree.  Best baked goods and sandwiches EVER.

We’ll drive somewhere w/in a 5 hr radius and spend a few nights at a hotel, take in the local fare and popular sights, and just enjoy relaxing in the spa. We won’t decide where we’re going until Sunday…it’ll be an adventure! So we’ll just have to see where we end up 🙂

Technically we are as we are taking 4 days about an hour from where we are getting married, but we will be about 21 hours from home by car!  We are staying in Naramata in the Okanagan Valley at a super cute B&B nestled in an orchard and surround by vineyards.

We are also planning a big trip to England over christmas as FI’s grandad lives there, so provided FI’s ex will sign the paperwork for his son to go, it will be a family trip.

@SarahSmilesDec28:  Ya a full day with a wetsuit and booties lol. I remember going to ingonish beach as a kid and it was so cold but so fun. FI amd I own an adventure sport consultation company which in Nova Scotia. Were also going to spend atleast a full day at Louisbourg since FI is a herritage blacksmith and Im a spinner etc so it should be a blast for us to go and play.
