So, I went to pick up my parents from the airport this afternoon and then we hit up happy hour! It was so fun, but Im not going out for the rest of the night lol
BF is working late and I was just wondering if any of you wonderful Bees are staying in also?
PS: I have to go to work at 6:30 tomorrow! blah
Yup! Sitting on the couch, watching What Happens in Vega, wishing I had the muscle tone Cameron Diaz has, updating my blog and starting a money blog. Oh, and stalking WB!
Ohhhh, a money blog....are there good tips on saving money? lol cause thats what I need to be doing!

This is a random question but have any of yall tried meditating? I tried it for the first time last night and I swear I got the best sleep Ive ever had! lol

Stuck inside for the Baltimore blizzard. Good thing I have lots of wedding projects to keep me busy. Now if only I could motivate myself off the computer....

I'm here! We're watching Inglorious Basterds and I am mostly covering my eyes and plugging my ears. Lol.

We're in tonight too - going to Mardi Gras in Galveston tomorrow night so we're saving up all of our scarce energy for that. I made lasagna for the first time - I had no recipe and was just going to wing it until I noticed a recipe on the back of the Wal Mart brand lasagna noodles box. Thank God! In retrospect, that could have been really bad. lol
@Ottawa - LOOOOOOVED Inglorious Basterds! Now one of my favorite movies. Like most Tarantino's, you have to stick with it. The end is worth it. :)
@HoneyBear - I've tried meditating. I found the best meditation I ever did was in Bikram yoga during the Savasana pose (dead mans pose). So much focus on your body rhythms and such. Generally, I can't focus long enough in my day to day life. I always think about trying to get into it though!
@legallyblonde- haha thats hilarious! i tried to make this casarole one time and it turned out sooooooo bad cause I didnt have a recipe lol

im staying in tonight! im all by myself. :( Teddy comes back tomorrow from his business trip yay! im watching that movie with Matthew Mcconoughy dont know how to spell it...and Samuel L. Jackson where Matthew is Samuels lawyer for capital murder...its on one of the two channels that i get right now...lol
@toothfairy- I did birkram once and it was so hot I almost couldnt stand it haha, i have since wanted to try it again because in the end I actually did enjoy it, but its so expensive! I have been having trouble sleeping the last few days and so my mom suggested meditation and I was beyond thrilled about it. It made me so relaxed and I had a GREAT nights sleep. The first in about 4 nights!
There's a bit too much snow for me to go anywhere for the next few days!
@HoneyBear - Bikram definitely takes getting used to, but I actually came to like the heat after time. The first 3 or so classes I spent laying flat on my back, praying for it to be over! I guess my hang up with meditation is I just don't know how. That sounds silly, but it's true. Did you follow something or just winged it?
Staying in tonight since I have an all day job thing tomorrow. Bored though since the FI is on his bachelor party trip this weekend. lonely lonely :(
@Laylabelle - Yep, I'm going to stick with it!!! I like it so far :) Fi and I are trying to watch all of the oscar nominated movies!
ok so ashley judd is in this movie...I CAN NEVER tell Ashley Judd and Charlize Theron apart...that is the only two people on the face of this planet that I mix up...anyone else have this problem?
also snowed in down in MD!! we've got probably 6-8 inches, with predictions of up to 30 by Sunday! Crazy. I just surfed YouTube for wedding music....
:( 18 inches we're supposed to get here. I can't go anywhere and FI couldn't come home from work because the roads were too bad. He saw 4 cars in ditches after driving a short distance!
@tooth- I followed an audio I found on iTunes- I just searched meditation and picked "the mediation station" lol so corny but I really liked it.
we're settled in watching Mad Men and drinking bourbon - how perfect!

I love fridays too! Although I wish I had more friends in town but I value my time alone hehe
I almost forgot it was winter. Here in Vancouver, it's been extremely warm! It's kind of nice to have a cozy day in when it's snowing outside!
Just got back from dinner with friends. FI and I decided to go home and not do anything else with them because FI has a paper due this evening for one of his classes and I have to work tomorrow morning. Don't know what I'm going to do, probably read and head to bed pretty soon.

Yep. I recently got a cast off my right foot and can't drive by myself yet as it's not strong enough yet. 
Plus it's raining and in a few hours that lovely rain will be ice and snow. So here I sit with nothing but Wedding Bee as company

FH is on his way home right now and I made us some dinner-y snacks and hopefully he brings home a movie!!!!
I am also excited for him to see my new hair!!! I'll make him take pics so you all can see :D
