i still have mine up too!!! although im in WA and not STL. i did grow up close to there though! my family has been keeping me informed on the weather ya'll are having back there! we've just been getting rain almost every day :( id rather have snow! lol!
us too! we got in from our wedding / honeymoon on 12/21 or something like that, so we just wanted a few extra days with the decorations up. Now it's just that it's so SO cold in FL that we can't deal with taking them down and putting them in the garage! And strangely, our tree hasn't dropped needles yet, so I kind of want to just keep it up as long as it lasts. @ejs - you're not alone!
Lol! Nope, I took all of our Christmas stuff down on New years eve!
haha, i just de-christmased our apartment last weekend. Up until then we had the tree up with lights in the front window! :)
Ha! I don't have any Christmas lights up but we still have our decorated tree up. As tradition we normall don't take it down until Jan. 6 due to 3 Kings day but I have been so lazy. I keep telling myself that I need to take it down but then I ignore it.
I took my tree down last week .... but we do still have our lights up outside because it has benn below freezing here for the past 2 weeks sooo we have not wanted to take them down
All of our lights and Christmas decorations are down inside... but outside they are still up! I disconnected the timer so they don't turn on, but it's tooooo cold and snowy to dig everything out!
We left all of our stuff up until 3 kings too, but unfortunately, we took it down last weekend. Sniff. Our house looks so bare!
Ours are up!! We got married right before christmas and didn't get to enjoy them, so Hubby has decreed that things are staying up til Valentine's day - Love it! (and him!)
We took our lights and tree down on the 3rd, but our manger is still up. We kept them up for epiphany and then I just sort of got lazy about it. But they're coming down this weekend, I promise!
They're still up...they don't get turned on but they're up cuz its to effing cold to take them down.
I've declared my generic, all-silver Christmas decorations as "winter decorations" and therefore they're staying up til March.
Win.
My tree is still up, it's in the part of the house we don't really go in, so it gets forgotten about.
Yes, and this is one of the very few things FI and I argue about. I am ready to take it all down and toss the tree out on January 1st. He'd keep them up forever. Drives me nuts.
We took down our tree and garland but I still have a wreath up (FI was scoulding me the it is still seasonal you know)
We actually still have all of our Christmas stuff up - it will most likely stay up until Feb...although we might keep our lights up in our living room beyond Feb...they're too pretty to take down!
We live in an apartment building, so sadly, we can't do outside lights. Boo!
BUT, while we have our tree put away, we're still guilty of having our stockings hanging up. For some reason, we never got around to putting those away just yet.
We still have ours up! And our tree!!!! Its still alive and healthy and hasn't lost a single needle yet! All our decorations are up too. MAN! We are horrible! If it weren't for the fact that we are moving, we would probably just keep it all up till next year! hahaha
We still have our tree up. We did take the ornaments off, but then got sidetracked. Whoops...
Haha I'm not guilty this year...got them down last week! But I feel like you get a month or so ;)
I'm always a bit sad to take them down at first...it is crazy though, all the Valentine's Day stuff is already out!
Heck yes!
Fi's bday is the 11th and mine is the 15th. As kids we both had conviced our parents to leave them up until our bday's so it's something we're sticking with!
It's coming down this weekend :-)
We put everything up the day after Thanksgiving and it's STILL UP! Granted, we took a 5 day trip off island and our Norfolk Pine is still super green but I was ready to take it down on New Year's. Hubs says to keep it up til Saturday because the wreath still smells nice. Plus he had a really good Christmas :)
Our outdoor lights are still up. We're hoping it'll be warm enough this weekend to take them down. Last weekend we got all the indoor stuff taken down.

StL has had temps in the single digits and even though we're up to the low 30's this week, there is still plenty of snow and ice out there to the point we haven't taken our lights down. When I drive home, there are still PLENTY of our neighborhood plugging their lights in at night (mostly the pretty white ones, not the red/green distinctly holiday ones).
Anyone else?! I can't believe it's mid-Jan and they're STILL up. And we probably won't take them down for at least another week until our "warm spell" of the 40's dries everything out.
