Yes. Obsessively. I watched an awesome marathon of his music videos yesterday on VH1 Classic. Love it.

They just played a rerun of last season’s American Idol Michael Jackson week, so yes I’m still listening to them.

Yes! I am packing up my house (moving to FH’s!) and jumping around while my ipod plays Michael Jackson through the speakers. 🙂 It’s great how the music can remind you of something sad yet also cheer & motivate you at the same time.

I’m there with you, Mr. Bee.  I was studying at a coffee shop all day today, and I got unreasonably excited when they put a Jackson 5 cd into the mix.

I’ve been listening to his songs today, too.  I was going through songs in iTunes, making some playlists for our upcoming vacation.

Yes ferrrrever… was hoping they’d declare it an MJ month and it’d be a crime to play any other music besides MJ music. LoveMJLoveMJLoveMJ

Yes, I am totally listening to MJ songs…like crazy, in fact.

I’m actually sorry I wasn’t before he died because now the experience of hearing these songs I so loved "back in the day" is tinged with sadness not just b/c of his death but because of how bizarre he’d become in recent years.   I listen to his voice when he was super young (on the Jackson 5 songs) and think, "wow, if only that little boy could have glimpsed into the future….would he have done anything different???"

Oh well….I’ve seen it said on a bunch of forums and I love the sentiment so I’ll repeat it here:  I hope he finds the peace in death that he never found in his life.

we havent read a newspaper, seen a computer, seen tv or listen to a radio for a week so landed and was thrown into a MJ information overload. wow, hes dead

one of the best concerts i ever been to was about 15yrs ago and i took my brother (who has a disability and who is a HUGE fan-only reason why we went). anyways, we got to our seats and saw the stage and 1st song started and i will always remember my brother giving me a big kiss and a hug and saying "this is perfect!"

might have to look thru the CD collection this weekend to see any old favs that i havent heard for a while

I’ve been watching MJ videos on youtube and then I downloaded them to watch over and over again. I have all of MJ’s albums but they’re on tape and I can’t find a tape player anywhere in the house 🙁  I’m gonna have to go on iTunes and buy them all again in a more contemporary format 🙂

Watching the videos really does bring me back to the time when I was a huge MJ fangirl. It’s kinda bittersweet. The songs bring a smile to my face and the videos make me wanna dance, but then I realize there will never be any new videos and it makes me sad.

I do. I do.

Last night when my FI and I were starting our DIY table numbers, I set-up Pandora to play MJ songs while we work. Love, love , love his music!

I go through MJ moods pretty often where I just HAVE to listen to his music, so this week is no exception. I’m guilty of belting out "PYT" on the way home from work yesterday! We had our DJ play a bunch of Michael Jackson songs at our reception…. dancing to his songs with my brother (lifelong fan, went to his concert when he was 8 years old) and our friends/family is one of my favorite memories.

Is anyone watching the memorial service?  I have it on CNN.com here at work.  Lots of good music.

I’m watching it at work too. Crazy good performances. But so sad too…
