I e-mailed the wedding coordinator on the cruise line asking if we didn't use their photographer because we want to bring our own, if we could get some sort of discount or just put it towards the extra people for the reception. They told me profressional photography equipment isn't allowed on the ship. Has anyone done this or know of people who have done this? We are planning on telling them they are just part of our guest list and they do photography as a hobby, if they ask. I just don't understand how they can tell you its not allowed. Even if you pay for the photographer but just don't use them. I don't want a random person, who i don't even know if I would like and probably will not like their style, taking our wedding pictures. This is my top priority for the wedding and I'm super picky about what style I want.
