Before I got engaged, I had my engagement in the house, once I found it. I used to sneak pictures and wear it when waiting days got hard. The bees on the waiting board were a great source of comfort in my pre engagement days.

I am getting antsy too!! My SO ordered the ring last week, and will take 4-6 to be made by Tacori, then I will have to wait for the proposal! I think I know the setting he went with, but the stone is a surprise (we looked at loose stones and he got very educated on the 4 c’s) and I’m excited to see what he picked!

if I knew it was in the house, just sitting there, the wait would be even worse!!!!!  Do you think that it’s his plan to see how long he can make you wait?? It would drive me crazy after a while! Maybe he is waiting for the perfect time to pop the question!

@QueenGee87:  how exciting!! Did you pick out the ring together? At least he gives you little hints!!  How long has he had the ring?

I was antsy during the phase where they made my ring. Fiance was even more antsy 😀 he would tell me whenever there was a set back and he was so frustrated. He had the ring in his possession less than 2 weeks when he proposed. He only waited that long to not steal his cousin’s thunder since she waited 10 years for a proposal and their wedding was within 10 days of the ring’s arrival. He proposed the day after her wedding which I found was super respectable for him to do.

It’s too bad you have to wait like this. I personnaly do not appreciate that the woman often has to wait around for the man to make the move on making an engagement happen. I prefer to see women empowered.

So of course I’m the one who proposed to my guy, woot woot! He loved it, I loved it, and I was in full control of what I desired 😉

I hope you get what you want soooooooon 🙂

@QueenGee87:  I was a little nosy, and I found out that my SO JUST bought the ring… It’s been in our apartment since yesterday, and already I don’t know how you ladies can wait this long. I expect that it should happen in three weeks per his timeline and hints. It’s driving me crazy already, haha. All I can say is what I’ve heard on the Waiting boards – the wait IS worth it. 🙂

Has your SO told you what the hold-up is? Or is he just waiting for the “right” moment?

@QueenGee87:  Ha! In that case, you just have to do your best to play oblivious. 🙂 Thank you – I hope so too!
