I keep trying but Itunes is having issues:( My sister did and said its amazing!
I think the features are pretty cool, but I'm waiting. New iPhone versions always have bugs, so I'll wait a month or two to see what they are.
Yes! I updated the day it came out.
I posted a few tips I found to get around some of the issues people were having.
The update definitley hasn't made mine or DH's phone any slower, but I am having 1 issue with my texting notification... it's not making any sound or vibrating. It still shows, it just doesn't prompt me.
Otherwise I haven't had ANY issues and REALLY REALLY love the update.
My FAVORITE addition thus far is different routes on maps! I LOVE this b/c I always hated that it didn't give you options for directions. lol
@amnystik: Oh, shoot. Wish I saw your post earlier. Crossing my fingers the upgrade goes well.
I have on my 3GS. It doesn't make my phone slower at all. Both FI and I are waiting for iPhone 5 to come out to upgrade.
@yrret107: Hopefully the issues people were having were just due to everyone and their momma trying to update at once. lol
If you do get an error message though just put your phone in airplane mode before trying to re-install.
Oh.. and my 2nd favorite aspect of the update is being able to reply on WB via my phone IN the comment box and not having to use the html anymore!!!!!! Woohoo!

I updated Thursday night, and I LOVE it! I especially love that when I'm in the middle of typing a text/email etc, a box doesnt pop up with a notification and interrupt me - that was a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Now it just appears at the top and you can entirely ignore it til you're ready!
I have a 3GS, and it's good so far for me! I really love the new reminders/list "app". The new notification thing it does, similiar to a droid, is pretty convienent especially when I'm doing something else on my phone. But other than that it's pretty much the same...am I missing something?
@teacherandageek: Well... iOS 5 is now compatible with WB so you can comment in the actual comment box instead of HTML (huge for us WB addicts), theres the new maps route feature, a couple new emoticons, we now have iMessage between other iOS 5 users rather than using our texting plan it goes like an IM, & you can now add ringtones for your text message notifications. These are the things I've noticed that weren't in the iOS 5 info :)
I really like it and haven't had any problems yet!

I'm in the middle of upgrading my iphone4 to IO5.
My sister just got the new iphone4S and her husband just upgraded his iphone4 to IO5. They really like the new features and his iphone is quicker, too.
I heard some people aren't as lucky and that it made their iphones slower. I hope I'm not that group.
