I think I would have to see a picture of this. I'm having trouble envisioning it.
This could go either way....realllly tacky, or cute. It's a fine line I think.
I'm hoping to get a picture soon, but the grass doesn't float or sink. It casacades, weird I know.
Finally I have a picture!! I'm trying to get really flowers to try in it but this is the basic idea. The light is the vase doesn't really show up in pictures but imagine a glow in the bottom.
@carriejuly: Have you found any other options? Sorry IMO this looks a bit cheap....

Hi Everyone,
I had a moment of clarity last night. I am looking for a cheap idea for centerpieces, and it hit me EASTER GRASS!!! I think I saw it done on Four Weddings. The basic idea is to take a vase, a submergable light, fill the vase with some easter grass and then water. I think we will put some cheap flowers inside, maybe ask the florist if she can get flowers with hues of green, and use a blue light. Our colors our blue with green accents.
What do you all think? Anyone done something similar? I would love to see photos!!!
