I did hobby lobby fake flowers and I loved my bouquet. I did dollar tree flowers for my centerpieces  and cut the bunches apart.

@Nikkimcq:  The fiance of Mr. 99’s friend asked me to help her make her bouquets and since $$ was tight, we did artificial…I wish I had photos of them, because they came out beautifully, and no one really cares at the end of the day anyway.  She put hers in a shadow box and its just as pretty as the day she walked down the aisle with it!

Yep, mine are real touch but not real life! I’m super pleased with them.

I did!

I got some of them off another bride on craigs list. The remaining ones I order on afloral.com. If you watch out they post 20% coupon codes occasionally.

We ordered roses from Sam’s Club and put together the 3 BM bouquets, my bridal bouquet, and 10 centerpieces the morning of the wedding no problem.  Including the floral tape, ribbon to wrap the stems, and pearl pins, we spent less than $125 on flowers.

I am using fake flowers, I just couldn’t justify the cost of real ones. I ordered a set of bouquets from Etsy, and will go to Michael’s or Hobby lobby to pick up supplies to make y centerpieces

I only used them in 1 area of my wedding decor. In the pic below. The flowers that are across the top of the gazebo are fake.

I am using fake flowers for my wedding.  We ordered bouquest, boutonnieres, and corsages from Lily of Angeles on Etsy and they are beautiful.  We bought fake flowers and made our own centerpieces.  I was worried that they wouldn’t look as nice being fake but I love the way they turned out.

I’m in the same situation as you and, FI and I are traveling back to our home state to get married, so the wedding is destination for us but not for our guests. I decided to go with fake flowers by Southern Girl on Etsy. I don’t have them yet, but I do have pics of them in process

my bouquet

BM bouquet

FI’s bout

GM’s bouts

and mother’s corsages
