Target has deals on similar items and Hobby Lobby is having a half price off all wedding stuff (at least near me!)

Here are mine..they look awesome. This one is the white premium kit from Brides at Michaels. I got 90 for $60 (after 50% off coupon, can’t be used all at once). awesome deal! They look super fancy and they are thicker, embossed and have better envelopes than the other invite kits..(I’ve seen about 4 other one in person).  The first pic is the outside of the pocket fold, it is hard to tell…it looks plain white and flat in the pic, but it is thick, embossed and detailed. Looks great imo.

First, I have to say I LOVE the invites you’re looking at! They are goregeous!

We used the Brides invites from Michaels, and they were a hit. It comes with eveything you need to assemble them, and there is even a template online so you can even print your own (which was what we fully intended to do, but ended up taking them to get printed for us instead just because we didn’t feel our printer was good enough in the quality department). I just LOVE Michaels!

These are our invitations from Michael’s, but also changing a few things on them. I wasn’t a fan of the big bow- so we are not doing that. And I also made a monogram and we are having it made into a stamp and then stamping/embossing in silver on the front the monogram. Can’t wait to get the stamp and get the stamping started!

And we’ll be taking them to a print shop to actually have it printed so it can be in the navy ink and good quality printing

If you want to do that style but don’t want to buy them from Michaels (they are a bit pricy) I’m selling 60 Chocolate ribbons that go with those sets. I was going to use them for my engagment invitations but we changed the colour theme (read: FH vitoed the colours)

here is the link

or seach for it under the classifieds topic “60 Pre Cut Chocolate Ribbons”

I used almost the exact same set except in the cream/gold.  They turned out beautifully and we got lots of compliments on them!  Good luck!

Oh, one word of caution about these invitations – the little “dot” they give you to seal the envelopes aren’t always up to the task!  Some of ours came undone in the mail so you may want to find something else to seal them with or just make sure what you use will hold up during mailing!
