We did an Alaskan cruise and we would love to go back to Alaska - but on a very different type of trip. If we went back, we'd probably go more inland and do more outdoorsy, winderness type things than what we were able to do through the cruise. Alaska is huge and there are so many things to see and do that we would be greatly limiting ourselves and our experiences do repeat our trip there on another cruise.
Yes!! We went to Maui and I probably say to my DH at least once a week, "I miss Hawaii..." But we already knew even before we went that we would want to go back. On our last day, I literally cried. It was so amazing. I didn't want to leave. DH and I are determined to go back one day.
Oh my goodness, yes. We went to France and Italy. Those countries still have so much more to offer, and I loved both so much. I never had a chance to visit Milan or the Dolomites, and I want to spend more time in Florence to shop for leather goods and silks.
ooooh yes. We would love to go back to Europe. Either someplace we went to during our HM or some place new. We're planning on 5 year anniversary celebration! Fingers crossed!
Oh, I do. I went to Rivera Maya (Cancun) and I would love to go back to the same resort with friends or family trip. DH had some tummy issues, so I doubt we will got back there. We may try Cabo if we go to mexico again. Where did you stay?
Yes yes yes. I am dying to go back on safari. I've already told DH that's what we're doing for our 5 or 10 year anniversary, only this time we'll go to Kenya or to Tanzania.

It was verrrrrrrrrrrry nice. They have a shuttle to take you to the sister resorts (some downtown on the beach) and there were a lot of nice seafood restaurants everywhere. Loved it. The resort is kinda hidden and romantic but still cool to take a free shuttle to where there are more things to do. I would highly recommend it. It's a timeshare too so you can go to the timeshare presentation and get free stuff. We got snorkelying, tequila, glass botom boat tour, dinner cruise, massage, free food, etc. We did good negotiating :) And we actually bought a timeshare too lol I knew if I bought one, we'd actually make time to go on vacation!!
Oh my gosh yes! And we will, hopefully within the next 1-2 years. We absolutely loved Napa!
We arent married yet but we have already talked about going back to the same cabin on our one year anniversary.
Can I go now? It's cold and I'm having a craptacular day. Bring on Belize!
Definitely! We had a weekend mini-moon at a hotel in our city and I'd love to go back. It was fantastic.
I'm the first one to say no! We went to Punta Cana and while it was fantastic - I think we did everything we wanted to do there. I'd rather go somewhere new the next time :)
No we had issues on our honeymoon and I had been to he Cancun area before so I would want to do something different.
Absolutely! We went to Lake Tahoe & totally wanted to move there! I can't wait to go back!
I wouldn't mind going back on the honeymoon (cruise), but there's other things I want to do first. We're going to the town that we got married for our anniversary to stay in a B&B.
Definitely! We want to go back to NYC in the spring or fall the next time. It's a gorgeous city near Christmas time but so cold!
I would love to. We went snowboarding in Whistler. It was amazing. Would love to go back someday.
Our 1 year anniversary is coming up. While we'd love to go there to celebrate, we're trying to save money towards a house. And we already have season passes to Mammoth Mtn here in CA.
So we'll probably try and recreate it a little...stay in the more expensive Village area, etc. I am excited! I can't believe it's almost been a year!!!
There are too many places in the world to explore to revisit our honeymoon. If I didn't have quite the travel bug, then yeah, that'd be nice. But I only get so much vacation time and so much money to do it - have to spread it around and see as many places as possible!
Nope! I dont want to go back to Jamaica for a long time - just because there are so many other amazing places in the world that we want to see. Also, I would never stay at the resort we stayed at again. It was beautiful, clean, the people friendly, great food, etc...but we realized that an all inclusive was just not for us!
I think our honeymoon may have been a one time place for me. We spent a couple weeks in Arizona and Colorado, hiking and visiting spas. I'm glad we went, and it was an awesome trip, but I'd probably be alright not going back.
HOWEVER, literally every day I think about going back to Belize, which is where we got engaged (and travelled a few times before that). That is our plan for our one year anniversary trip, and I CAN NOT WAIT!

we went to couples swept away in negril jamaica - i would go back 100 more times but there are also 100 more places i would love to see as well.
I've been saying I want to go back, too! I loved it. It was SO relaxing, and I could use that again right now. :)
Pitbulllover, we were at an all-inclusive in Jamaica, too. Where did you stay? We were at Sandals Negril, and I absolutely loved it! C would prefer to go somewhere with more to do outside of the resort, but we both absolutely loved the fact that it was all-inclusive. We could eat anytime we wanted, drink anytime (or as much! ;) as we wanted, and almost all of the activities were included.
Totheislnds: what was Swept Away like?
I wouldn't turn it down Disney World if it was handed to me for free, but there's so many different places I want to see. We've got NYC and Maui on the calendar for September, my girls' Vegas trip in June and are hoping for a Europe trip next spring.
I'd love to go back to St. Lucia because we really enjoyed it but, I would have to side with the PPs who already said there are so many other places to see. I think we'll do another caribbean island all inclusive ressort in the future but for the ime being, we decided to take a break from that type of vacation in order to see new places. This year we're going to the Island of Malta with the Starwood points I earned from wedding related stays and AMEX purchases. I think our dream vacation is a month in Asutralia but am not sure we'll ever be able to take so much vacation at once.
We would hop on a plane in a heartbeat to go back to St. Thomas. We saw our resort on House Hunters International the other night, when a woman bought a condo right next to the resort. It made both of us nostalgic and want to go back..now!! I love St. Thomas!!! :)
HA! I was thinking about it minutes before reading this post! I look at our Honeymoon picturs almost DAILY! I can't wait to go back! We went to the El Dorado Royale resort in Puerto Morales (Riviera Maya) Mexico. Loved it!
Maybe. We had a wonderful trip and the beach was AMAZING, but the food in Cuba was awful. Really, really awful. If we went back I'd be bringing a lot more snacks in my luggage!
Yes! I do! I do! We were in France and Italy. But, we just booked our early honeymoon for 10 days on the island of Kauai. I'm so excited to explore somewhere new.
Nope, we had a not so great honeymoon To Costa Rica, so I would never go there again, and we need to make up for the disastrous honeymoon somehow: honeymoon number 2:)
Yes-I had been there before the honeymoon and would return again. We went to Thailand.

Omg yes! We went to Kauai and now we listen to "Island Radio" on iheartradio everyday at work. We miss it so much!
we went to Chicago and he wants to go back soooo bad, but i think he wants to go back to that "time". It will never be recreated, it was such a happy time in our lives, not that we are not happy now, but it was the awesome end to great summer filled with bachelor and bachelorette parties and of course weddings, we were in 3 a peiece that year, yes the same ones, we are still tight with our core freinds from high school, and our wedding was the last of the year, so ur honeymoon was a great wind down, so i personally would like to travel elsewhere and create new memories with him
I would love to be back on our actual honeymoon and i get nostalgic for it a LOT because it was so relaxing, fun, exciting, etc. But i'm with the others who said they'd not go back, because if we were going to do an amazing vacation all over again, we'd try somewhere else! we did st. lucia and while it was awesome there are many other places i'd rather see next, and i didn't love the all-inclusive enough to do sandals again. I wonder if that means st lucia isn't that great? haha. we loved it though!
Yes! I cry everytime I have to trudge through the snow or start my vehicle and let it warm up. I think about the insane hot weather of Australiaaaaa.....
Yes... we honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, and are returning for our anniversary! 180 days and counting...
We honeymooned in the Riviera Maya in Mexico and we're going back this May to celebrate our 1st year. Same chain of resorts, but a different hotel closer to Tulum. Cannot wait for some warm weather and being able to wear summery dresses every day!

I have been dreaming about planning our one year anniversary to go back to Cabo, where we spent our honeymoon. Anyone else doing this? I just miss it :(
