Hi dear! I'm just up the coast from you :) What is your style or theme you are going for? What about sparkly or metallic shoes? Do you have wedding colors? Sorry for all the questions, but love to virtual shop!
@pink.sequins: Aw, awesome! I actually live slightly up the coast as well. :)
My wedding colors are green, white, and black, but I'm not really big on design-type stuff (um... I may or may not have just chosen my favorite football team's colors :P) We don't have a theme besides just having a good time - the venue is outdoors and somewhat mediterannean, somewhat california/mission style.
I like a little sparkle or more subtle metallic stuff, I just don't know if it matches. But I am not big on the fashion sense, so I always tend to shy away from anything too dramatic. My general style is somewhere between jeans and gym clothes.. clearly not wedding appropriate.
Thanks for the help!
ETA - and yes that thread was great! it's what prompted me to ask for help, since there's so many cute wedges but I'm not sure they work with the shorter, vintage dresses.
Shopping for other people's shoes is my favorite thing to do on WB, ever.

I have these in champagne, and they are super comfortable!

I know these are probably too high, but I love the buckle so I figured maybe you would too!

again with the height, but too cute to not share.

@Entangled: OMG, you are too cute! If anything, your wedding day gives you complete license to be dramatic. Especially with a short dress, the shoes should make a statement...they will definitely be on display :)
@Entangled: Aww I had no idea you went with a short dress! It looks awesome! I remember following your thread about dress shopping! :) Sorry no real shoe help but I had to comment when I realized "who" you were.
These Badgley Mischka Opels might be a little high for what you want, but so pretty:

and they come in green, too :)

I would go with a little POP of color (including black). It would add a fun, whimsical feel to the lovely dress. FYI, I'm very jealous you went with this gown. Short was always a dream (I fell in love with POB Jewel JL229), but an October wedding in the Mid-Atlantic is a no go for a short dress. So rock the shoes and show them off. Good luck!

@Krises: Oh, wow, so many! I was hoping some people would enjoy this... I certainly like looking but feel like I don't always know what to look for. The Nine West with the textured fabric is gorgeous and I adore the Unlisted with the flowers. I also really like the Kelly and Kate one... I feel like those would definitely stay on.
@pink.sequins: LOL, I'm glad "cute" works. Mostly I just feel like such a ridiculously clueless tomboy. I'm torn between wanting to make a statement and wanting something that's a little traditional since the dress is so not.
@irin997: Aw, thanks. Yeah, I finally realized that if I felt so out of place in a long dress I'd be a lot happier and have no regrets with a shorter one. Thanks for all the help with the dress stuff. :)
@mshoagie: Understandable. I grew up in southern New England and October + short skirts can definitely be an issue. Part of the reason we're getting married out here. :) Great shoe suggestions, though! *stares some more*
As you have ruled out pumps and high heels I won't post any of those. I will focus on white since that is what you are 99% sure that's what you want.

@julies1949: Thanks! I really like the first three. Which are they?
I think these Badgley Mischka's would look fabulous with your dress!

I don't have any particular shoes to show you but Victorias Secret typically has some really nice wedges and heels (you should check them out online). And as for actually going somewhere to try on shoes, I love Marshalls and Ross for shoes (plus they're cheaper than most places

And something totally, totally different.

@Entangled: Great taste! As soon as I saw the Nine West pumps, I thought they would look amazing with your dress!!! I think it all depends on what type of shoe you are looking for - a pump, or a sandal. I think either will look gorgeous. I do also really love the Kelly and Katie, and they are definitely very comfortable, so that is an important factor as well. I do like that the Nine West have just a bit of detail on them, which I think is perfect for your dress (which I love btw). Let us know what you choose!

I am a short dress bride, so as much as I love the little peeks of bright color under long white dresses, I am 99% sure I want white/ivory shoes to match my dress. I'm 5'2" so a heel is pretty necessary, but generally only comfortable in sneakers, so I'd like to stick with something around 3 inches. I'm getting married outdoors and would like to avoid anything that will sink into the grass, but am willing to try the little soul mate things. Here's what my dress looks like:
The shoes in the picture are the ones from the bridal salon. While they're cute, I don't want something super vintage, since I'm hoping to tone down rather than play up the retro look.
Any ideas? I have been scouring zappos but I suspect some of you are way more shoe-savvy than I am. :) [and while I love cute colored/shiny shoes, my suspicion is white would look better with the dress]
ETA: forgot to mention that my feet are between sizes so I have a really hard time with regular pump styles - they fall right off of me.
