Weddingbee boards

I normally don't, but when I saw what they were going to discuss, I made sure to watch. S. Epatha Merkeson (from Law & Order) is on, discussing all of the black people who have gone missing and got no media coverage to help with the cause. This honestly makes me sick to see how many people go missing without so much as a news article letting people know!!!  I will say, I am white, but I was raised to not see color or ethnicity, only that they are another person just like me. I just feel so sorry for these people whose family members are gone, the police don't take them seriously (saying they are runaways or ciminals), and the media doesn't care, because white people take precedence. 

I wish there was something more I could do!!!  Somewhat unrelated, but I am going back for my Masters next year, and I'm wondering if there might be a major that could help me find ways to help these people?? I am so sad, No one, regardless of differences, should be treated as less of a person. :(
