I wore the 1955 for my wedding.  Same as you, I found it to be THE most comfortable wedding dress I tried on!  It’s actually a big part of why I picked it, knowing that I would be able to dance and have fun in it all night.

Yup, wore a 1900 altered to a sweetheart neckline.  Loved it.

I am!  Mine’s an older one – Casablanca 1918.  It looks so much better in person than in pictures, especially on the model.  I just ordered it last week, so it’ll be a while before it gets here.  I want to try it on again so I can remember more about it.  Dress shopping was not very fun for me, so I’m having a hard time remember how I felt wearing it.  I do remember that I liked it.  I hope I can see it again in person soon!

And those are very pretty dresses y’all have posted!!

Yes ma’am… I am wearing 1975 (coincidentally that’s the year my parents were married!)

style #1827. I have to agree w/everyone, it was THE most comfortable dress I had tried on. It took me a while to notice the comfort though because I was still struck by the dress itself.

I loved the 1955! It was very close between that one, and the one I chose, the 2008.

I’ll be wearing 1938. Dress shopping wasn’t that fun of an experience for me, and while I didn’t have a “this is the dress” moment I knew I loved it the most out of all the other dresses I’d tried on. And by the way, all of you ladies look amazing in your dresses!

@mblab – 1938 is pretty! I had kind of the same experience, I didn’t have a “OMG” moment. But I did go back to the shop to look over my dress about a week ago, and had the “love” moment, which felt pretty good. ๐Ÿ™‚

@atalante: I know what you mean. But I’m glad going back you fell in love! My dress should arrive in the next month, I hope when it comes in I can fall in love (again?) too! My biggest concern is actually the size of my actual dress. The bridal store made me order the size larger than the sample that I tried on (that fit) since they didn’t know how stretched out the sample was. But now I’ve lost 10 pounds since even trying on the sample and I’m freaking out that my actual dress will be 2 sizes too large!

@wondertwin I am wearing 1827 too!! The best dress ๐Ÿ˜‰ I LOVE how light it is- I didn’t want to wear something heavy and be sweating like a pig all night
