I wish I had a picture of mine to show you! It's a plain cathedral length veil with pencil edging. I'm going to get my dress tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get to snap some pictures.
I'm just not a blingy person. My dress is lace, and it doesn't have anything sparkly on it. I don't plan on having sparkly jewelry either (I'll probably wear pearls). So my outfit will be totally non-blingy. :)
I am wearing one similar to the first one, but I also love the second one.
@tksjewelry: omg i'm in love. i was going to do something like
but now i really want to do what you're doing!
Here's mine. I made it the night before and lover how it turned out. The reason I wanted plain: nothing else really seemed to go with my dress.

Sorry that it's not a close up like the others. I'm at work and this is what I have.
@tksjewelry: i have the same veil! the length is somewhere between the first and second pic on mine.
i opted for a simpler veil because it looked more cohesive with my dress - the bling just didnt seem to fit (i don't know if that makes sense, but it kind of looked funny to me with too much stuff going on) - my style is pretty simple too, on a daily basis.
I think I am going to go with a plain veil because I don't plan on wearing it the whole day and I don't want to spend a fortune on something I will only wear for such a short time. Not only that, but my dress has a lot of bling on it already.
I am looking at something like this :
I don't have pictures on this computer but I wore a plain veil because A) that's my style - I honestly didn't care for the more blingy veils at all and B) I didn't want it to take away from my dress at all. I think it turned out beautifully!
Mine was chapel length with a pencil edge. I was iffy about a veil to begin with so this was my compromise. It was super sheer so it didn't cover the back of my dress. Best of all, $69 at David's Bridal. It got stepped on, dragged on the ground, etc so I'm glad I didn't spend more.
I'm most likely going to go with a veil like this, one layer, no edge, probably my height but no longer
than that.

@emilia: I Love that little veil! Where did you find it?
@tranquility: Tbat is the EXACT one i am looking at purchasing!!
@emilia - I am doing mine in a much softer fabric, french silk tulle, it is my one big splurge for the wedding. I have always wanted one and I am so excited to wear it.
@Tswife4ever: I got the cathedral from the same seller and I love it.
@helenberrycrunch: Awesome! I just bought it and can't wait to get it!
Mine was plain because I was already wearing a flower in my hair and I had a lot of detail at the top of my dress so I didn't want the veil to be busy. I don't have a lot of pictures (I did all my posed photos without it) but here's something.
Mine was a plain one-tier finger length veil with a simple pencil-edged trim. I wanted something simple, elegant, and classic... just like my dress. :)

i am wearing a raw edge, single tier, cathedral length veil. no embellishments or anything. I am sort of regretting it though, becuase my dress is really plain.

Do you have pictures of you in it? I would love to see how it looks! Also, why did you choose to go wiht a ismple veil verses a blinged out one? I am considering wearing a simple veil since my dress has so much bling on it.
