i have never spent over $100 on a pair of heels but i thought for my wedding, why not splurge! i found these shoes and just like my gown, fell in love and every other shoe i looked at just didn't compare! i love the idea of a colored shoe because it's fun and a way to show a little personality and i definitely intend to wear them as much as possible, starting with the rehearsal dinner (*gasp* i know, they wont be a surprise for the wedding!)
these are my dream shoes and i will actually be receiving them in the mail next week!! what i loved about them was that the details and fabrics matched the details and fabrics on my gown! it was meant to be lol.

I found mine! They are hot pink Christian Louboutins --my first pair :) :) :) -- and totally Barbie-esque and very comfortable! I'm in love

Westie-do you mind me asking how much you paid for your shoes? I've been dying to buy Christian Louboutins but I'm freaking out over the price tag.
I JUST got my Jimmy Choos! They're not colorful but they've been sold out worldwide so I'm really excited. Only problem is we ordered them from London only to find out US Customs charged an extra $200+!!! We're fighting it but doubt we'll win. Something tells me I'm going to be buried in these shoes.

These are the shoes I just ordered yesterday, love them! They aren't colorful but I think they're cooler than the typical white wedding shoe. They're Badgley Mischka

Mine are from Repetto - they cost 175€. Repetto shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn - these are my third pair!!! Their flagship store is definitely worth a visit when in Paris!

Okay, the platform-y sandal is a Dana Davis (fawncy LA designer) shoe that originally went for $500 -- !! -- but that I found thru Amazon.com at 70 percent off. It's actually gold.
I'm wearing either that one, or the other gold-y shoe, which is actually a ballroom dance shoe that cost me $55.

I got Ralph Lauren shoes - Ember. They were $225, normally $400. But I love them and they are my favorite color!

I had bought these before I was even engaged. But I think they're the perfect wedding shoe! So it's like I'm saving money since I already have the shoes. :) Right?

Wow. Those are some gorgeous shoes ladies. I am considering something with a low heel, probably white with a little detailing. However, for the dancing I might just do what my mom did because my dress is so long. Go barefoot. I know, it's sort of strange but I have really high arches in both of my feet and I have titanium screws in my right foot from a surgery back in gradeschool - so shoes that don't kill my feet are hard to find!!!
@BrownEyedGurl - we're shoe twins! The pic of mine is a bit further up in teh strong, go look! I got compliments ALL NIGHT on them
I have two pairs of shoes. First is Jimmy Choo strappy crystal sandals with about 3.5" to 4" heels
Second is the glitter Christian Louboutins, but I want something higher so I am thinking about getting the nude strappy sandals with crystal heels and returning the CL glitter.
By the way I am selling my Jimmy CHoo, brand new size 35.5 or size 5.5 U.S for $350 if you are interested. The shoes are retailed for $895, and I got them for almost $500.

@kankanwed: I got them at Nordstrom. It's a good excuse and reason to buy a nice pair of designer shoes at original price without feeling guilty:). I mean, these type of shoes would be hard to come by when they go on sale, usually they are sold out before they get a chance to get marked down that's why:).

My sister bought me these Badgley Mischka shoes for the wedding. They were on sale for $90 at The Bay. I can't wait to wear them. I am just a little worried as the heels are 4 inches and I am afraid that I won't last the whole day with them on.

i'm stilling having a dilemma on my wedding shoes. I don't mind wearing colored shoes under my gown, for a pop of color. There's so many gorgeous designer shoes on sale right now. Just wanted to know what shoes you bought and if you have any photos of them! Share! =)
