I am actually thinking about it.  Fiance is about 3 inches taller than me, but all nice heels are at least 3″.  If anything I will wear heels for the ceremony (have my eye on a pair of Manolo Blahniks in silver) and then change into sparkly flats for the reception/dancing.

I’m definitely wearing flats! I’m actually an inch taller than him but I’d decided on white ballerina slippers even before we met, lol. I’m going to be comfortable, dammit! I want to have something light on my feet, plus I’m a clutz so leather slippers have the lowest chance of fall-on-my-face-in-a-big-poofy-dress. AND they come in all kinds of widths for about $30. Besides, the dress reaches the floor, not giong to see much if anything of the shoes! I’d say plain white flats, ballet or peep toe, with a cute bow or blingy shoe clip. Cute, easy, comfy, low cost, low stress.

I’m debating wearing heels as well! But I don’t feel elegant with flat shoes = (

My Fiance is about 3″ taller than me, but when I wear heels I tower over him!

I’m seriously considering this- http://www.tallmenshoes.com/?gclid=COix_uuf-64CFc-a7QodyzUt0Q

And then at least I can wear shoes with a little heel ; )

I wore slight wedges, but they only come in colors and champagne.  They are pretty fabulous though, so I post them as often as possible ๐Ÿ™‚

I had plans to wear some fab sparkly heels for the wedding and found some in a lower heel (my dress was perfect hollow to hem) however when the dress was bustled it just didn’t look right.  I searched and searched for some flats in my area (I would have ordered some online had I time, but I didn’t find out the shoe issue until the week before) and ended up in some sparkly flats that I bought in New Orleans on my Bach weekend!  They were great!!! I didn’t have to worry about being taller than Darling Husband (eek!  first time calling him that on the Bee) and I was super comfy!  Go for it!

I’m thinking about wearing a small heel for the ceremony and change into flats for the reception. One problem though… how in the world do I get the dress length right? That is my major hold back. I feel like I should pick flats or heels. Not both. Any suggestions?

I had rosette flats that I absolutely LOVED! I’ve actually gotten so much use out of them since our wedding that I almost need to order a new pair.

I’m wearing flats! Fiance is an inch taller than me but I always wear flats anyways because I am already 5′ 10. There’s only a handfull of women i’ve known that are my height or taller so if I wear heels I feel like I am towering over people for no reason. You don’t need heals when your legs are already 3 feet long (36 inseam).

I’m definitely wearing flats.  1 because I prefer them to heels and 2 because my Fiance is only a couple inches taller than me.  I want to get lace flats in ivory or whatever matches my dress.

I think heels hurt, and Fiance is only an inch or two taller than me so I also will be wearing flats. I don’t have them picked out yet, but probably something gold and glittery!

I am definitely wearing flats. I ended up doing green ones because I really wanted statement shoes, but I had my eye on a pair of white ones, from Risingtaste. They had a flower detail that would have matched my dress. However I am having a casual wedding and the flats I got go very well, but if I was going for a more dressy look I might have gone with the white ones instead.
