That's my dress! I absolutely adore it! Here are a few photos of me in it - this one isn't the right size - my dress should be in in December!

That's a gorgeous dress! I feel your pain. I too, exchanged my first one for a second one. And I still don't think I'm happy LOL. I see everyone else's dresses on here and have such dress regret! But there's no way I'm getting another one, so I just sulk! haha
omg this dress is gorgeous on you amanda and I have the same body type as you! I'm pretty petite and short.I will post pics of my dress. I just dont know about it I'm kinda unsure because I dont know that it fits me well. It's pretty but after seeing this dress on you, I really wanna try it on!
Oh your dress is really pretty too! But I'm a big proponent of making sure you LOVE your dress! You should try the DB one on and and least see how you feel about it.
Im going to try this dress on tomorrow hopefully! I made an appointment. Then I'll find out if the one I have is meant to be or not
i dont mean to make your decision harder but i do prefer the WG9828 dress, but i have always prefered that style but your dress is very pretty also! try the dress on and see how you feel/look.... goodluck!!
ok so some good and not so good news. I tryed the WG9828 dress on and I am in love with it! I think it gives me some shape and fits me better. BUT, since I already exchanged my dress once before (long story) and its been 4 months since I got my dress, she said they would have to call corporate offices and they couldnt do it today cuz it was too late so she is going to do it tomorrow. I'm thinking I'm most likely not going to get the dress because thery are going to say no :( I'm praying I can get it but I just dont think I'm going to and it sucks because they didnt have this dress when I bought mine or else I would have tried it on. What makes it worse is the dress I bought I tried it on again right after and I was like wow nothing can compare to the other dress. The consultant said she would try to fight it so wish me luck tomorrow!
amanda... did you buy the mermaid slip that goes under it or the regular one? I tried both on but one was a little too pouffy cant remember which one now.
I actually didn't buy anything to go under it. They didn't give me anything to try on with it when I went to try it on, and I liked it just how it was - I'm not one for poof, haha!
Do you have any photos of you in the dress? I'd love to see it! Be sure to let us know what happens!!
love the wg9828 dress! i would definitely ask them about it, even if they could give you partial credit it's better than no credit. i would say wait until the spring when db's new line comes out just in case you see something else that you like.

so good news is I was able to exchange my dress! when I tried it on it was in ivory and was too big so I will post a pic of me in it when I receive the dress in january.
Yay! Congrats!! I'll be getting mine in December - I was the same as you when I tried it on - ivory and about two sizes too big. Can't wait to see photos of yours!!
I tried this dress on. I went this another dress at David's Bridal but that was definitely a runner-up. Looks great on you!

I know this post is like 2 years old, but this is my dress! It's clearanced at David's Bridal for $300!!! I was so excited when I found this (after trying on like 20 some dresses), that I bought it. It looks so beautiful on, and I found a veil and flowers for my hair as well. In total, I spent $500 including tax!
Ok, i will jump in here too... I have that dress as well; got it on clearance at David's Bridal (but it was more than $300.00)...course, now they are basically out of them except really small and really large sizes. BUT THEN....the dreaded dress regret.
Actually, i still love the dress. I am very curvy and it is SUPER FLATTERING and SLIMMING....but, i bought the dress because I loved it but didn't know our wedding date, venue, etc... at that time. Since then, i began to have dress regret and wanted a fuller dress.
Thankfully, my fiance was VERY understanding and offered to buy me another dress (but I told him that I would sell my first one, the DB).
So, if anyone else loves this dress, I have it in ivory, Size 10. BRAND SPANKING NEW, with the tags, in the bag, and a full length, ivory veil (attached to a comb) to match. I even have a gorgeous blue-green sash I will sell with it if you are interested.
I am selling the Dress and the Veil for $425.00 (plus any shipping charges of course) (I am NOT making money here....just trying to recoup my expenses....because I need it to help pay for the rest of the wedding!) There are people on Pre-Owned Wedding Dresses and Recycled Bride that are selling the (used) dress ALONE (w/o veil) for that much. This is new with tags.

I'll jump on this to and I'm pretty sure I got the dress just in time before they sold out of regular sizes (Not petite or plus size). I bought it in Jan 2012 and now all of the petite sizes are going for $250 give or take. My wedding is a year away from now and I haven't fully decided if I'm going to wear it or not. I have a size 8 in ivory. Does anyone have photos of them with this dress on the wedding day?

hm so I already bought a wedding dress and even exchanged the first one I bought because I bought it too early. Now I saw this dress on their site and absolutely love how it hugs the body! The dress I bought doesn't do this so much. I kind of want to try it on. I love the dress I have but keep wondering what this one would look like. Plus, I dont think they would let me exchange a second time even if I did love it lol. It's Style: WG9828
