I really love the Allure C157 dress (without the fluff on the boobies), but I'm going back and fourth with a mermaid/trumpet style and this A-line dress! I love the way it makes me feel, but I wanted to know if anyone else loves this one too???

I do love that gown, but not for me. I would be picking at the flowers the entire time I was wearing it.

I tried that dress on and it is georgous. Its perfect for a spring wedding but I decided to go with something else.

I'm so torn because I don't want a silly dress. I can't decide if it's too silly. It was gorgeous. I'm getting married in a winery so I'm curious if I should go with another style!

Charmedlife357, did you get another style?? Or same style but different dress?

this is my dress!! I was going back and forth between this and a fit and flare/trumpet lace gown. It was a very hard decision as they were so different, in the end I went with this one because, I have been told it's more "me", also because i think dancing will be more comfortable in this than a fitted dress.

Good luck deciding! If you love the way it makes you- go for it, but I understand its a tough choice!!

let us know what you decide!

This is my dress too!!!! As soon as I saw it I knew it was my dream dress!! I was deciding between this dress, and a mermaid style dress too.  I would have to agree, this dress is going to be more comfortable dancing in.  I decided to go with this dress, because it was different and it was totally me.  I know it is a hard decision, but go with what your heart tells you.  Good luck, and keep us posted on your decision. :)

That's a fantastic dress! I can't pull off something like this because I am so short, but if you can, GO FOR IT! It's hard to imagine a more fun wedding dress (repeat to self: not silly, FUN!). P.S. I'm all in favor of boob fluff! Anything that makes it look like there's something going on up there is A-OK with me!

It is so beautiful and when it was the only one that made me all giddy inside! I didn't think I'd feel that at all for a dress, but I did. I thought I was the more fitted type of bride. I just don't know! Thanks for the feedback guys!!!

Fallfarm bride, send me a picture of you at your wedding!!! I'd love to see it on in real life!!!

I haven't bought it yet (and you didn't ask me hehe), but I was thinking of doing some type of feathery thing on the side of my head and my hair up, but very loose.

And maybe some type of colored stone jewels. Pretty colored and delicate of course. I don't think I'd wear diamondy accessories with this dress if I got it. Can you tell I've been thinking of this dress day and night. Lol.

    Haven't thought about shoes yet.

danalovely....I think this is your dress if you stay up thinking about!

Good call on the colored jewels! I was think bright colors would be good with it- I'm not sure about accessories yet because the dress itself makes such a statement that I feel I should go minimal, but I'm thinking about a white hair flower and either bright pink, purple or blue shoes.

    opinions?

I know!!! I do keep thinking about it. I think it's moving up the ladder between the four dresses I like. I still am dreaming of the Amy Michelson Grace dress, but it's out of my budget.

Yes, I'd go with light only because my colors may be lighter oranges and teal blues. Bright would look great too! I love the flower or feather thing in the hair look. Would you wear a veil with this dress? I'm not into veils much....and I'd want people to see my hair. lol.

It's cool with this dress because you can go any way you want. It's not the typical formal type of dress. It has character so all the other stuff you wear should have character too...I'm not a pink girl, but I think pink shoes would look so cute! That or the purple. A turquoise shoe would look really nice too in my opinion. Not sure if you were thinking of the bold pinks, purples, and blue colors or the more neutral types. My style is not so bold, but to each his own and I'm sure you have style since you picked this dress! That's just my opinion, but I'm excited to find out what you chose. I don't know what I'd wear on my feets! Maybe a pink, ivory, or something lighter.

I know about writing dresses off because of the price- I was all about the Amsale dresses for the longest time, way too expensive!

I love the teal and orange color scheme, mine is yellow but I really want to go bold with the shoes! I think I am leaning towards pink or purple.

I am not wearing a veil, but I had decided that before I picked this dress; Im not a veil person either.

What other dresses are still in the running and within budget?

Light teal would look georgous and be in your color scheme!

After you mentioned teal and orange, I am starting to think I want bright and bold teal shoes :) thanks!

fallfarmbride10-  I just purchased my shoes today :) they are perfect!! They are Benjamin adams style Lana  (picture attached) but my shoes are in Ivory.  I love the feathered look :) I am going to be wearing my mom's veil (which looks perfect with this dress), so I still wanted to incorporate feathers somewhere :) why not my shoes!!!  I am going to wear my mom's veil during the ceremony, and I am not sure if I want to purchase a flower for my hair or if I'm going to purchase a sparkly headpiece (attached picture).  I love my hair down, so I am going to be wearing my hair down with curls.  I am going to go very simple on my accessories.  Probably just simple diamond studs, and a sparkly bracelet.  I am so excited :) I get more excited everyday about my dress, and I can not wait for it to come in. I agree with danalovely- bright shoes would be great :) but when i saw these Benjamin adams shoes in person I fell in love!!!!  I will keep ya updated on what I decide.... I am definite on my shoes know it's deciding on the accessories... Can you tell I am very excited about my dress lol :)

Hahahah! Yea, I haven't even gone to a florist yet and picked the flowers and my wedding is in October! Scary.

I am debating about these dresses:

1.) Enzoani Blue, Cincinnati (It's the 2010 collection)

    http://www.bluebyenzoani.com/main.html

    2.) Mia Solano, M1099Z

    http://www.miasolano.com/gallerydetails.asp?main_id=467&sname=&cname=BRIDAL&cat_id=27&subcat_id=0

3.) Maggie Sottero, Fiorella (it just fit so nice)

    http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=A3325SS

    4.) Maggie Sottero, Rhinna Royale

    http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=S5094HP

    Which do you like?

gatorgirlmandy- i love your shoes!! good choice! Thats awesome your moms veil goes with the dress, i mean, how perfect right?? I think hair flower or that head piece would look great- its georgous! let me know what else you decide- its so nice to talk to girls who picked/thinking about picking the same dress- its definitly not for every bride!

danalovely- i loooove cincinatti! I was going to try it on but it was sold off the rack 2 days before I went to the boutique to try it on :(  The two maggie's are beautiful too, I bet they would be so flattering. In my opinion the top two would be C157 (might be a little biased ) and Cincinatti then Rhianna, Fiorella and lastly the Mia Solano. They are all georgous though, what is the feel of your wedding? Is it an outdoor wedding? Church wedding?

fallfarmbride10- Thanks :) I know it was so wierd how my mom's veil match!!! that was a must!!!  do you have any pictures or ideas about what you are going to be wearing in your hair?? Same for you too danalovely!! any pictures?? It's very nice to talk to others who have bought the same dress, and who are considering this dress!! I just love it so much :) I always thought I was going to wear a mermaid style, but when I saw this dress!! I though to myself.. I have never seen a wedding dress like this.. I wanted something different.. something that would be remembered!! I am so happy with my choice :)

danalovely- I am going to have to agree with fallfarmbride10 I love the cicinatti!! I saw it in a magazine, and thought it was beautiful!! we must all have the same great taste :)  I am going to be biased and tell you that the C157 is my favorite :) or course lol it's the dress i am going to be wearing!! I know you will make the right decision :) it's all about you, and what you see yourself wearing down the isle!! :)

gatorgirlmandy- Im thinking somthing like this for my hair. Maybe something closer to the roses on the dress...not sure yet. I just want it soft, simple and pretty. There are so many sellers on etsy that will make exactly what I want, I just need to nail it down.

    http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=43922060&ref=cat3_gallery_17

I'd really like to have just a tiny hint of blue put into it, maybe a small piece of blue tulle in it, not really noticable at all, but just so I have my something blue. I am not into beading at all so I dont want blue beads in the center.

If you wanted more feathers, there are so many pretty hair flowers with feathers!

As for other accessories, I agree with you, I think I might do small diamond earings and a pretty bracelet.

i absolutely love the dress and don't think it's "silly" one bit!

@danalovely...you and i have such similar taste, all of those dresses were on my list except for the last one because i hadn't ever seen it! i tried on the fiorella and loved it, although i love the texture from the fabric of the others. :)

@danalovely - I love that Allure dress! Of your contenders, it's my favorite with the Enzoani being a close second.

Where did you find this dress to try in the LA/OC area? There was an Allure Couture dress I was dying to try on when I was looking 3-4 months ago but I couldn't find it anywhere :(

Seriously, the way you girls are talking about this dress it's making me want it even more!!!! I'm getting excited about it and I haven't even bought it yet!

@gatorgirlmandy: I agree with keeping it simple. Bold shoes with simple accessories can be lovely! Your shoes are gorgeous. I like the ivory look too. Also, if I bought this one, I thought I'd like my hair up, but long with curls sounds so romantic and beautiful. I guess you can go anyway with this dress. I def agree that minimul accessories is best for me also. And yes, please post your headpiece. I'm curious what you chose :)

I think it's insanity that most of you girls loved the Cincinnati too!!!! Hahahaha. We all must have the same style. All your ideas for hair and shoes sound really pretty. And you both are biased! Hahahaha, but I'll take the advice. I appreciate it. I try on the Cincinnatti on Friday to show my mom again. I think I'll know by Friday night because I have one more dress appointment just in case something catches my eye! As of now, I'm leaning toward the Allure.

@FallFarmbride: My wedding is going to be at a Winery in Temecula, California. The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors so it wont be at a church. I was going for the romantic look and that's why I loved the lace look. Where is your ceremony and reception??

@gatorgirlmandy: You have your dress and accessories all figured out don't ya!! Wow. You're on top of things! Is that you in the dress or someone you found online? Sorry! I just figured it was you. What a bozo. You or not the dress is gorgeous! Cant wait to see your pictures one day :)

@meliss: You're talking about the Allure Couture dress right? I found it at two places so far. Jinny's Briday in Huntington Beach (the greatest bridal place everrr...in my opinion) and Debrah's Bridal in Upland. Debrah's had this dress, but they said it was "their" own line. It's the same dress though. There was a trunk show last weekend for Allure at Jinny's. Of course I couldn't decide right then so I missed the discount :( I can't believe you liked the Cincinnati too! What dress did you end up going with? Your wedding is coming up!!! :)

@jennhasfeet: We all do have the same great style Wink I love the Fiorella, but it's so different than this Allure dress. It was beautiful and the fit was so good and the color was really nice. I hate that all my dress choices are so different.

Ok, so initially I told myself I wouldn't really care or be picky about the dress...and now, look at me! hahah.

danalovely- i think this dress would look beautiful for an outdoor wedding at a winery! Mine is actually going to be outdoors too, we are getting married on my family farm, ceremony outdoors (if the weather cooperates) and then tented reception.

I would love to see Cincinnati on a real person, if anyone has any pictures!

@dana, i know! the difference between all the dresses i loved were incredible. one was the Fiorella, one was an enzoani dress in that pewterish color (not sure what it's called) one was red with a TON of beading, and the dress i ultimately chose has no embrodiery, no beading, no color, just a lot of ruffles!

i don't think the choices have to be cohesive...you just like what you like. :)

@fallfarmbride: Oh how lovely a farm wedding sounds. I saw so many ideas for a farm or country wedding. I am trying to go somewhere in the middle of italian winery and country. Since the winery I'm getting married at isn't a typical manicured lawn type of winery.

Also, I love your bridesmaid dresses! I actually was going to go with one similar in style! But it is a turquioise blue color. What brand are your dreses. I also really loved two birds bridesmaids, but they are more than I want my bridesmaids to have to pay. They are so beautiful though and come in any color and you can style them any way you want (sorta like the bandeax American Apparel dress).

Thanks! I feel like it will be really pretty. The ceremony is in a grove of trees- two rows are perfectly spaced apart from eachother. Its like it was meant to be! My sister got married last September there and it was so pretty. Im just hoping I luck out with the weather like she did!

And yeah, picking bm dresses is tough because all the bridesmaids dresses I was in love with (amsale, priscilla of boston) are waay more than I want to make my friends pay. The one I am thinking about is a pretty maid by house of wu. I think it is about $150. It is important to me to stay below 150- I was in five weddings last year and no one picked a dress over 140.

@fallfarmbride and gatorgirlmandy: I ended up getting another dress that I really loved! It was between this one and the Allure and she offered me a deal I couldn't refuse! It was a Pronovias and they're from Spain (I am quite fond of Spain since I lived there for a few months) so I felt like it was a sign! Hahahahah. It's so pretty and sorta similiar in style to this Allure. It's the Pronovias Madrigal. It looks kinda weird on the dress model (I might have to post my picture in the "Anyone else hate their dress model" section of the weddingbee. hahahaha.) It looks so lovely and girly on. I really wish you luck with your jewelry and shoes and bridesmaid dressses! Please please please send me some pictures of you in the dress on your wedding! I still love this dress!

And thank you for all the feedback ladies!!!! If I didn't go to this last dress shop (that I almost cancelled)and if she didn't give me a huge deal, I would have been in the Allure!!!! Why do I feel like I told this amazing guy I couldn't see him anymore because I found another amazing guy! Hahahaha

Hi! New to the boards...I am sooo excited to see others who are wearing this dress! I too always thought I would wear a mermaid dress but chose this one because it had texture and character. Gatorgirlmandy, is that you in the dress? It is gorge! The model doesn't do the dress justice for I like it on me better than the model. Oh and go Noles ;)

Is anyone wearing a veil with this dress? I can not decide on my headpiece. I like the one on etsy shown by Fallfarmbride, etsy has such great stuff!  Is a birdcage veil too much with this dress?

It is so nice to talk to other who have decided to wear this dress for their wedding day!!! can't wait to see picture of you in it!! :)  No, not me in the dress!! whoever it is looks great!!! I definitely like the dress better on me than on the model.  I am going to be wearing my mom's veil for the ceremony, and I am considering wearing a flower in my hair for the reception!  I think a birdcage veil would be wonderful with this dress!! I would look at Etsy :) they have some really pretty ones!!
