Has anyone gotten married there or even attended a wedding in Jamaica? Hoping to hear from someone 
i was thinking of getting married there and there was a place, rose hall i think it was that i thought was absolutely breathtaking.
I am getting married in Rose hall resort in Montego Bay next April. We are going this April to meet with the coordinator and see the resort and start planning. MY FMIL goes to Jamaica all the time and says is breathtaking.

My husband and I were married at the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica (just outside of Ocho Rios). It is a newer all inclusive with great food. They gave the bride and groom to be a free upgrade and other things. The one problem that we encountered is that we had to work with an in-house planner. I ended up working with 3 different ones over the process of 6 months. One told me something and then the other told me something different. It was very frustrating. The resort does make for a really nice place to have a wedding, though. It will be fine with you planning it. Just make sure that you get confirmation from management on big decisions.
On another note, we wanted to get married at the Rockhouse, but they were booked up well in advance. Also, they have raised their prices substantially in the last two years. Negril is a great place to wed also, there is Sandals, Couples and several smaller, yet beautiful hotels. The beach in Negril is not private. This is why we married in Runaway and honeymooned in Negril. I hope that this helps.

My sis and brother in law go every year for their anniversary to Round Hill, outside of Montego Bay. They have witnessed some of the most gorgeous weddings there so do check it out! Beautiful and laid back elegance.

I was married at Round Hill almost 2 years ago. it was amazing! I had a planner here in NYC do most of the leg work though so I don't know how helpful I can be. I practically just showed up! And I also brought in several NY vendors, so I don't have a lot of recommendations. They do have a wedding consultant at Round Hill named Rochelle who did a lot of the work with my planner and she's very sweet and if you plan a wedding there, she knows all the good bands, florist, etc. Good luck!
ps. if you go to the round hill website and look at the customized weddings link, my photos are the first 5 or 6 or so. just to give you an idea of what the wedding looked like.

I am planning my sister's wedding in Jamaica and it will be the first time I've ever had a wedding there. So far the planning is going great! I am just curious to know if there are any bees out there that got married in Jamaica? If so, would you mind sharing your experience such as.....
