I’m really hoping a Seattle reader has a Gocco that is willing to burn some screens for me. Here’s the situation:
I have a Gocco and made sure I knew how to use it before even ordering my paper and cutting the paper down to size. After reading all the blogs I could about using a Gocco, I read that you could save a screen with the ink in the freezer and re-use when necessary. So I set up an invitation making party with all my friends and thought I would have a whoel assembly line effect in action…
Sadly, to say, I couldn’t get the screens to print perfectly when the day finally came. And so I tried to burn new screens on the spot, but, to my dismay, the bulb holder was really loose and didn’t work the first few times. My fiancee tried to tighten the bulb holder, and then we were able to get one bulb to pop, but not the other. We tried and wasted 4 screens and 8 bulbs!! 🙁 SO SAD!
I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that some Seattle reader/angel that has a B6 Gocco (that’s the orange, one right?) is willing to help me burn the screens I need to finish off my invitations (or any B6 owner across the country!).
Thanks very much for considering to be my invitation-saver!
