Hi there. We have 2 women standing on FH’s side. They will wear the same color and dress style as my BM’s.

We have both men and women on each side and have let each person choose what to wear. All my bridesmaids and one woman on my SO’s side are wearing the same dress and my bridesman and the other people on SO’s side are wearing matching pants and a vest.  I guess it depends on your preference, but that seems like a good plan for us 🙂

A friend of mine recently had his two sisters as groomswomen and they wore cute black dresses and nude heels (the guys wore gray suits and we wore blue dresses) and it turned out nicely. My fiance is having one of his female cousins stand with him and we’re looking for a gray (same color as the guys’ suits) chiffon (same material as my girls) dress for her. She also may have a wrist corsage instead of a bouquet, we haven’t decided that part yet.

My friend who had groomsgirls put them in (female-styled) suits to match the groomsmen; it looked really great, honestly. They both had short hair though, so the non-clothing styling was an easy call.

I told our groomswoman that the bridesmaid’s dresses were long and chiffon and v-neck, and to get a dress in black that had simmilar attributes. We bought her a necklace in the color of the bridesmaid dresses. (I was originally going to have her wear a matching sash, but her dress looked much better without). Our bridesman wore the same tux as the guys, but with a colored bowtie that matched the girls instead of black.

I was in a wedding with a groomsgirl. The bridesmaids wore green Alfred Sung dresses and she wore a grey one to match the grey suits the guys were wearing. Looked great.

my brother was my Bride’s attendent.  he stood on my side and wore the same tux as the groomsmen.  i would have done the same had it been opposite.  the groomswoman would have worn the same dress as the BMs.

MrsUPS:  Having a groomslady was basically one of the BEST decisions we made.

Same dress as my girls (the infinity dress), in the color of the guys tux.

The guests LOVED it.

ThursdayLove:  We did a wrist corsage instead. It saved us a bunch of money obviously but I think it also fit in better with the boutinieres.

rachel85:  MrsUPS:  Thanks! I am so glad we did it how we did it. I love our pictures and we don’t even have the professional ones back yet.

I would have her dressed in the same style as the bridesmaids but maybe a different color or have her hair different?

I had a bridesman and he wore exactly the same thing our groomsmen wore a different color tie to go with me and the girls.

We did! Our Groomswoman/ Best Lady wore the same dress as the bridesmaids but in black.
