One of the bees had a wedding ring like this! She had a lot of trouble with it as I recall! I just cant for the life of me remember who!!
@Miss Sydney: I think it was Octopus! She ended up getting one custom made and it didn't turn out how she wanted if I remember rightly. But she had some very pretty design ideas.
I would love a ring like this, but as you say, I've never seen one in person. I don't even know what keywords to use to search for one online. Let me know if you find something.
I did see Octopus' blog on these kinds of rings. Her blog actually led me to Fay Cullen who designs the ring above! I googled openwork wedding bands, art nouveau and some popped up but I have yet to see any in person. They are beautiful but I wonder how they will look with a solitaire.
Baletrina, what did you end up doing for your wedding band? I also have an Emerald cut solitaire and would love to see a pic!

i love this band..its very hard to get something made thats similar- i went to my jewlers they sell one like this and when i asked to get sapphires added they wanted to charge me almost $500 more in the price..so we didnt get it..im still looking :(..i spoke with another bee that has a style close to this an but thinner she told me she got hers heree :http://idjewelryonline.com/index.php?cPath=22_53&sort=2a&noitems=21&&noitems=21&page=6

@CosmoPip: I am actually waiting on an Ebay seller to send me a pic of a solitaire with one of the bands. :) Found the same band on Ebay for half the price of Fay Cullen. The one thing I am thinking of though is that the band may be pretty wide. Didn't think of that till we went in to our jeweler to discuss bands. I will post an update soon.

So I have an emerald cut solitaire and have fallen in love with the art nouveau openwork wedding bands like this:
But I am having a hard time imagining(and also finding in person) a wedding band like this with a ring. If you have an openwork weddingband would you please post it?
