How small is small? I’ve got a .59 RB solitaire!

This is mine. It’s only 0.5cttw. I am unsure what the center stone is. I get compliments pretty much all day every day on it…which is odd to me, because they really are tiny diamonds compared to the huge rocks posted here on wb. It helps that I have RIDICULOUSLY short fingers, so it actually gives me quite a bit of finger coverage. It is a size 8. I love it.

I don’t think you should feel left out at all just because you’re not wearing a big diamond.  I’ll bet your fiancee put just as much love in choosing that ring for you as the others who chose a big diamond ring.  To me, that’s what counts the most.  My ring is a total of 1/4 carat and came from Walmart and I can honestly say I love my smaller ring more than any of those big diamonds from Tiffany’s and wouldn’t trade it if I had the choice.  I have very small hands and fingers so a big diamond would look ridiculous on me.  Also, I’ve never been a big diamond type of girl.  My fiancee got it just right.

Mine is a 0.61ct solitaire. I did go with a smaller diamond and chose other things above the size, but I think it is the perfect size!

I don’t or didn’t have an engagement ring. I only have one ring which is my wedding ring and I am not bothered at all by the size of my stone. My centre diamond is 0.48 and the total carat weight on my entire ring is 0.78 I think. This ring was designed by myself and got the jeweler to make it to fit the money I thought was reasonable for hubby to pay. My only requirements were only platinum and diamond should be used please. For me it is about the significance and practicality. Being a not jewelery person and a mother of a toddler I would be so annoyed with a huge stone on my finger all the time.

I have a three stone with smaller stones! The ruby is about .4-.5 equivellant to diamond, and the little diamonds are about .13ct each 4.7mm ruby and 3.2mm diamonds according to the papers that came with it 🙂 I wear a size 4.5

Bored6: I have super tiny hands, my ring is Uk size J (which I think is US size 4 3/4). My ring has a beautiful little 0.33 carat diamond. Smaller stones are more of the norm over here, but remember it’s about what the ring represents, not hte size or type of stone. 🙂
