Hi! I know this may sound nuts, but I am having trouble deciding between two wedding bands (one is pave and the other is channel), and my finace suggested we just get them both! We are getting them at a better price than we had planned (stores in our area sell them for about 2500 but blue nile has them for 1200 – both platinum). So my question is: do any of you have two wedding bands that you interchange? I know a lot of you have two bands that you wear at the same time with your e-ring, but I’d just have two and wear whichever one I was in the mood to wear…Is it crazy?

No it’s not crazy, and it is completely up to you. Would you have him put both of them on at the ceremony?

I’m planning on having two wedding bands also! One eternity band and one plain band. I want to have the option to dress up or dress down my wedding set. As long as your Fiance is okay with it and it’s not outside your budget, I say do it! Not crazy at all!
What I can’t decide is which one to wear on my wedding day as my “official” band, lol! I’m leaning towards the plain one. 🙂

No – I have two matching that I will wear together with the e-ring. What can I say? I like symmetry…

Wow! Thanks! Yes, I think I’d just have him put both on at the ceremony. He is actually the one that suggested it because I was having a really hard time with the decision – so I know he’s fine. And we budgeted for it because we didn’t know about blue nile when we priced our rings! I think I may just do it!

They are such different styles the ones you describe. Does one match/go better with your ring?

I think they both go nicely with the ering. The chanel is an eternity ring and I like having the diamonds all the way around. The pave has diamonds 1/2 way around the ring (so can be risized easily) and it looks nice and dainty. Like you said, two different looks, but I like them both!

Well I guess I would have to see it the ring. My ring wouldnt match with both so I would have a preference.

i wear 2– a plain band and an eternity band. i like having the flexibility of wearing them both or just one. like, i used to travel a lot for work to dodgy places, so i wanted to have the plain band for that. for the ceremony, we used the plain band, and then i put the other band on as well for the reception

I plan to get two, one that’s plain and cuddles up against my e-ring and then a separate wider band that I can wear alone and is modeled after Mr.ND’s ring. I won’t be wearing them together (other than the ceremony just so I’m ‘married’ with each band) but I’m still looking forward to having 2 bands 🙂

Not crazy at all! If you can afford it and your Fiance is on board then go for it! Lots of ladies have stacking rings.
