I am toying with the idea of going to a European Wax Center for a bikini wax (not a full brazilian). I keep getting a “first time free” coupon so it seems too good to pass up!
However, I am very nervous because I have extremely sensitive skin. I can’t get my eyebrows waxed because it peels the skin off and I end up looking like I have a piece of tape under my brows. The only other time I’ve gotten a bikini wax, they used sensitive skin wax and I still bled like crazy. By the time it healed, the hair was growing back!!
I’m also nervous because I have a lot of hair – sorry if that is TMI!!
I’ve read that European Wax Center uses a different method which is less painful. Anyone have any opinions? Thanks 🙂

The wax they use is super good, and barely hurts. However, I stopped going there because their prices are unreasonable. $18 bucks for an eyebrow wax that I can get anywhere else for 8-10 bucks.

@MrsZynxy: they use hard wax which is better for the skin. However with your skin issuea I would stay away from waxing.

if you’ve had skin come off, and you’ve had such issues with waxing before, i would not get waxed if i were you. ever.

I love love love European wax center. I think they are actually extemely well priced, except for eye brows! But I would say too that if you are sensitive to not get a bikini first, I would try arms or underarms and see how that goes. But yes it is definitely less painful and goes by sooo quick!

I’ve only gone there once for a Brazilian, and I personally thought it inferior to the other salons I’ve gone to. Of course, that could have been the specific esthetician.
