I have already paid my deposit on my ceremony site. When sending in the information, I noticed in very very small print that it requires $1 million in liability insurance due to it being a historic garden.
Anyone else have to buy bridal insurance for a ceremony location? I know most people use wedding planners, but the fact that ours is family, very intimate destination wedding we are not doing a wedding planner.

I did. Our ceremony is in a park and they required 1 mil liability insurance. We got it thru the same company that my parents have for their homeowners insurance. I have to say mine was a bit of a hassle but it was mostly because the insurance lady did not read the directions to begin with.

ah, thanksk for the feedback! I found some bridal insurance places online that seemed to be cheaper than what my insurance company quoted.
Anyone else any of the online bridal insurances? It also covers your deposits for your vendors in case something bad happens!

At first I thought it strange that an historic garden would require insurance but then I realized it was like a loan/transfer item where both parties would need to be covered in case of anything.
I don’t need to get extra insurance for my venu but my cousin needed 1+ million since she was having an actual fireworks show.
