My SO is going out of town for the FIRST time since we’ve been together (for over a year and a half).  I’ve gone out of town multiple times for work and once for visiting home…  But I’m so shocked, I don’t know what to do with myself!  It will only be for 24 hours, but still!  OUR BED FOR AN ENTIRE NIGHT TO MYSELF?!  WHAT?

iarebridezilla:  The family photos sound fun!  I keep telling my SO we need to get some done with our stepson.  I was hoping for fall photos with the turning leaves 🙂  The pictures would go so well in the entrance of our home.  But we also have to think about engagement photos… as soon as he proposes!  We’re going to ask his best friend to do both shoots.  We’ve already warned him 😉

arebridezilla:  I LOVE your photo idea!! That is so funny and it WILL be cute!! You’ll have to post it when you get it.

Last night I tried to do an exorcism on my dog, but it didn’t work. Lol! I guess I did it wrong. So other than trying again, no real plans.

Oh, we got a new roof installed yesterday and I stressed about it beyond what a normal person should stress on. I was especially worried about the dogs, though.

Going in for a second round of interviews (with the designer/owner this time) and a 1 hour production test (jewelry) today at an AWESOME jewelry company. I am so excited/nervous and dying for this job. Could have a very sparkly future!

iarebridezilla:  I LOVE the corny family photo idea! That sounds like something me an my FI would do to be goofy!

We are going to see the Tampy Bay Rays game tonight and we’re seeing Tom Petty on Sunday night, it’s a pretty eventful weekend for us!

Woohoo!  Love these threads.

Well my plans this weekend – tonight right after work, I plan on heading straight to a starbucks to do some homework.  My internet has been acting up at home (we live in a condo, and the condo fees include internet…except it’s been naughty lately!)  I just plan on staying for an hour or so, but I’m kind of far behind so I need to get SOMETHING done and not have the distraction of sitting on my couch watching tv.

Tomorrow I’m meeting some girlfriends for coffee, getting my hair done, and then going to a space clearing workshop.  Really looking forward to that.

And Sunday, we’re heading to the Banff area for a hike with some friends.  There is a place called Larch Valley where the larch trees turn a beautiful gold colour in the last two weeks of September, so do the hike and we’ll walk around the lake.  Here’s a pic I stole from the internet.

And here’s a pic of the lake it’s near.

Right now – SO TIRED, had a massive deadline at work that passed 12 minutes ago (But I hit send an hour ago – first consultant to submit – GO ME) but it’s been 2 days of being here early and staying late to make it happen.

Also, just found Suits on Netflix, addicted.  Love that Netflix lets you binge watch TV shows!

Ryansgirl:  Omg.  I went to Banff once when I was 15 with my family.  I have to go back soon.  It’s so beautiful!!!

iarebridezilla:  That picture sounds adorable. I wish that I had something like that with my family, so I am definitely going to do it with my (future) kids.

We just closed on a new house and we will be spending this weekend working on it. The house is functional, but I still have a vision that I am working towards. I am also about to start a new job, so I have a lot of change going on in my life right now. I’m excited, but also slightly ill with anxiety (makes for a nice combination!).

iarebridezilla: love the corny family photos idea, just think of how much you can embarass your daughter when she’s a moody teenager!

We’ve made a pretty big executive life decision, and so we are looking for new jobs 900+ miles away and planning to relocate, which is exciting stuff if it all goes well. Plus it means DH gets to change careers to something he has always dreamed of doing.

.We’ve just started mentioning it to family and friends, and so far the reception has been good, although I’m dreading telling his mother, I know I’m gonna end up being the evil bitch who dragged her son hundreds if miles away from her!
